great unit, pros outweigh cons.
My review is somewhat subjective so YMMV. I'm using this on a PC, but have also been successful using on the Xbox One. I use it for Assetto Corsa and PCars2. Best in its price range
There are more expensive options out there that may offer a more immersive experience for the ultimate sim racer, but for a more affordable price range that still offers good force feedback, this option is great. Would prefer if this special edition came with t3pa pro pedals instead of the standard t3pa, but they are definitely adequate. Best in its Price Range
For the mid range wheel setups (between high end direct drive setups and low end without FF or with lower quality FF) The TX base is a great option, the force feedback was easy to adjust to a comfortable point for games like DiRT Rally. The cooling fan does a great job, turns off appropriately, and is fairly quiet. 2nd times the charm!
B&H severice is on point as usual, but unfortunately, I had to return the first wheel I bought because it started making a grinding noise about an hour into playing. Not exactly sure what caused it, but after doing some research in sim racing forums, it seems like a good number of people had to go through returning a wheel before finding one that was a keeper (for various reasons)...that said, the wheel I have now is AWESOME. Super quiet, great feedback, and leather grip is really comfortable. I highly recommend this wheel with one caveat. Buy the extended warranty from B&H!

Best wheel for newcomers to sim racing
I held off for months into getting a proper setup for sim racing that'll be a good experience, just because of the expense. It's well worth the money, and strikes a good balance between a quality experience, better technology within the base, and future upgrades like different wheels that work with the TX base, and the H-Pattern shifter.

Real world feel
This is my first wheel but I'll say it has a great feel. The leather is top notch and other than the fact that it's smaller than a traditional car wheel it feels like a high end factory leather upgrade. Force feed back system works great and with normal driving hasn't over heated. Takes some hard driving to get the fan to even come on.

Thrustmaster, the best name in Racing!

Good so far
I've only owned this wheel for a couple weeks but I really enjoy how realistic it feels. I've been playing for a 6 and it feels very realistic. Shipping was fast and the service of BandH has been good.

Very Impressed
I have this attached to a Playseat and absolutely love it. It makes playing racing games so much more fun. The force feedback is pretty strong and makes driving feel realistic.

It worked once and has been unusable since. I have been working with customer support at Yhrustmaster for almost two weeks. Do not buy this product
