Yes, it is very pricy for a controller but it is well worth it for the right game. Once you start using it you quickly realize how much you had been missing without it. Absolutely amazing!
I upgraded from a Saitek X52. I use this for DCS Black Shark and Flaming Cliffs 3. I have yet to use it with A10C but I plan to in the future. This thing has a big price tag but if you are serious about flight SIMs then it is a worthy investment. The best available
It's the best available flight stick for any hardcore simmer. A little on the pricey side it was hard to swallow but I'm glad I did. All the options and precision you could want in a stick and throttle although the stick is rather stiff, it can hurt your hand when flying long hours. I concur with all other comments in the reviews, it's simply the best of the best. Only wish it had been at a price point of around 300.00

Great flight stick and throttle
Can't recommend this unless you fly dcs a10-c, as it was made specific for this sim. The precision and quality of the stick are exceptional, but as felt it's a little on the pricey side. It's a great stick and I like it but I don't think I'd purchase at this price again, definite buy at the 300.00 price point though.

Thrustmaster hotas warthog
I purchased this product about a week ago to replace my aging flight simulator sitck. It is solid as a rock and so far I can find no faults with it. Very precise compared to other sticks I have used. I am still learning how to use it. This is for serious flight simulator users but anyone can learn to use it. It is pricy but I guess you get what you pay for.

Expensive item and no software
Was very impressed with the quality of the flight stick and throttle. Only one problem it did not come with any software. Had to go to website to download and was dishearted about not having the software in the box.

Thrustmaster Hotas
Haven't had the Hotas very long but it is extremely well made and feels very durable. The action of the stick and throttles are very smooth. The only con is the price, but you get what you pay for. If your serious about flight or fighter sims you should put this at the top of your list.

Warthog is the Joystick to buy
As someone who flown online since 1997, I've tested quite a few joysticks. Starting new a good joystick to buy would be a Logitech 3d Pro since its cheap and dependable. Once you build some experience there are a number of options like CH Products, Saitek and Thrustmaster to fill the need for serious equipment. CH and Saitek are mid priced around $100-$200. The Thrustmaster Warthog is in a class of its own. Although not a twisty stick, the sensitivity is firm and its durability will last. If you are going to step up to the next level, this is the stick you want.

Actually Worth the Price
I needed a high precision, (8bit), controller for commercial/enthusiast military vehicle sim. The solid construction supports the higher precision and allows for flexible mounting. Theoretically, the Hall Effect technology should provide for a long, useful life. The buttons are realistically stiff, but seem crisp in their response. This Flight Stick is amazing.
For the money I was expecting this to be pretty special, but when I opened the box I was blown away. This thing is a piece of Art. It is heavy and much of it is metal. Everything works super-smooth and the switches are solid. This is worth the money and then some.

Best of the best, high quality
I have been using HOTAS for a many year and have owned many different once. This HOTAS is by far the best one I have had. The stick has a real feel to it and the movement is unbelievably smooth, the smoothest I have ever felt. The entire design of the HOTAS is of high quality and it look and feels as if it will last for many years.

Just Great
Not much to say, this is clearly the best simulation throttle/stick combo available. The workmanship, quality, feel and performance are all outstanding. Obviously this is targeted at a particular niche market, but if you are interested in a high quality flying experience this is a great choice.

Simply exquisite
Even though this is a pretty niche product, it is easily the best peripheral I've ever bought for my computer (and I'm writing this review with a Razer Black Widow and Mamba). Best of the Best!
Thrustmaster has always made the best flight simulation controllers I have tried. They come with a steep price for a reason: They aren't built to fail using cheap components. The movement of the stick and throttle is smooth and precise. I use this for jet simulators, such as the F16 Fighting Falcon. Response is unmatched and completely stable. Incredible Controller
Build quality amazing. Heavy and sturdy. Switches are solid and quality. Perfect controller for the DCS A-10 simulator. The only downside is that the switches on the throttle are almost too specific. In other sims you will have to be creative in deciding what to use them for. Doesn't even need the software installed to configured correctly for DCS though. Throttle firmware it shipped with was not the latest, but not a big deal.

Top quality
This is the best quality hotas out there. Full functionality as per the real thing out of the box with DCS A10 Warthog simulator. Also highly configurable with all the simulators and games out there. It's expensive but if you want the best, this is it. Looking at the quality and care employed in the construction quickly explains the cost.
