Use these for legal video deps. We like keeping all mics deployed the same model and manufacturer. They sound fine and the cord length is righteous. I can see from a distance if the bozo attorney attached it properly. On sale they rock my world and there's nothing wrong with being "white"! Thx Bh and Tascam
As Good as Sennheiser

I have two of these lavaliers and two TM-10LW (white versions, discontinued). I also have the Sennheiser lavalier. For what it is worth, I have mixed them up and can no longer tell them apart. Let's face it: If you are in this price range, this lavalier sounds (to me) just as good as Sennheiser. If you want to up the quality, I suggest leaving both Tascam and Sennheiser and going the COS-11d Sanken route or the Countryman route. I film weddings and these guys have yet to disappoint me. This mic also works well with the Sennheiser packs if you want to use it with those for some reason. I purchased the white versions from B&H, and that is why it does not say Verified Purchase, because that version is discontinued. I also reviewed the Tascam DR-10L with a similar positive review. I was looking for an option that would allow me to stylize a white mic with black clothes and dark backgrounds for a video content on our YouTube page. Complex, if I things we also wanted something that we did not have to put a lot of work into audio editing afterward. this tascam Lavalier paired with the Wireless Go 2 system is perfect for our needs. Would highly recommend for someone who might want a different color lapel when doing their Contant or filming interviews. Very solid for the $$, clip is robust

Even though this is technically a replacement mic for the Tascam DR-10L, it's basically a clone of the older ME-2 mic, so it will work with anything that has the Sennheiser-style connector. I A/B'd this against the new ME-2 MKII (using a wireless belt pack) and I liked the sound of the MKII a little better, but I liked the CLIP on the Tascam better as it was spring loaded and it seemed like it would hold up in day to day usage. Plus, it's about 50 bucks cheaper, so I don't think you can beat this for the price.

Bought this as a back-up for the Tascam field recorder. Like having an extra. My first project using was a reshoot in an environment with a LOT of background noise. Wanted to pickup as much clear reception of the talent on the front end and not so much adjustments in post. Was pleasantly surprised on the clarity. Also like the streamlined windscreen.

Replacement for Sennheiser G2 G3

I was dreading having to buy another Sennheiser LAV since they changed the design to the plastic clip. It is horrible. Along comes this TASCAM with the exact (and I mean exact) same design as the old Sennheiser ME2 Lav. The parts are even interchangeable. Comparing the waveforms between this and the old ME2, they look and sound identical. I really think that they just took over some of the ME2 old stock or something.

I am a wedding videographer, so I need audio that works and is discrete. This thing can blend right into a white Tux or dress. I pair it with the TASCAM DR-10L for the ultimate, very tiny, recording solution.

The microphone is perfectly fine, it's exactly the same as the black versions just didn't have the white version of the DR-10L In stock when I went to purchase so I had to get the white cord in addition. It wasn't very cheap and that's why I only got a four-star. Overall the mic is Okay, not the best you can buy but it is what it is.

Sometimes it is better to use a white lav. to conceal. Mush of my audio is corporate presentations where presenters wear whit shirts. This on sounds great(as good as sennheiser), and is a good price point.

I bought this mic after seeing several YouTube reviews. And, after receiving it and testing it, I was very disappointed in the overall sound quality and sensitivity. Its sound quality isn't terrible. But, it's not nearly as good as I anticipated. I'm going to have to upgrade further.

Believe it or not I like the quality of this mic against most others in its category and more expensive. The vocals sound good. For double the price there is certainly some way better products, however this is great for its price bracket.
