Almost damaged from the begging
few days after first use, the power button started to malfunction. now, I have to turn it on and off many times for the button to stay on. sometime it disconnect after few minutes even when it is on.

Perfect speakers for my desktop
The family loves the sound output, which fits the purpose. Speakers' design also perfectly matches my desktop monitor. Great value for money and beyond expectation!

Constant loud buzzing on any volume.
Bad quality. Avoid! I've plugged these into a few different devices and no matter what I plug them into, there is always a rather loud hum being emitted by these speakers. They are made of cheap materials, and although the price does reflect that, it doesn't make it worth it. My opinion is, these speakers are a waste of valuable resources and a waste of money. Sorry to be so critical, Argos, you usually sell good quality stuff, but honestly, these need to be discontinued in my opinion.

Great pair of speakers.
They are powered by USB. Just plug in the USB cable and audio jack and power on. Simple. They are loud for their size and are perfect for a PC. If your portable TV has a USB slot, use for a better quality sound.

Brilliant little speakers with good sound quality
These are perfect for home and work presentations. Good volume and sound quality. Make sure your computer volume us turned to high. Great value for money.

Did the job for me.
Needed a pair of portable speakers to provide sound for a presentation to a group. Did the job perfectly. Would be nice to have a carry case, but for the price that would be impossible!

Great Speakers
I was very plesy urpsed with these speakrersfor the riceeethy did exactl what was said on the box, easy to set up just plug into computer/laptop and away you go simple no fuss, there is a blue light that shows when they are on and a knob at the front to turn them up and down also a headphone socket at the front. In fact I was so pleased i purchased another set for hubby and he is very pleased.

Sound a bit muffled
These little speakers are great for the price, however when I got them home I realised that the sound was quite muffled on a higher volume, but overall they are good quality speakers

Basic Speakers, cheap and do the job
Basic cheap speakers bought because upgrading PC to Windows 10 affected sound card. They are a bit bulky but certainly do the job and quickly resolved the immediate problem

Worth the buy
Bought for my auntie as its difficult to hear from it, bought them for myself a few years ago so I knew they were a good brand. Great volume range and really easy to use.

Great for the price
These were the cheapest ones I saw and for the price and what I use them for (computer games) I am very happy with them. One thing I didn't realise is they plug into a USB rather than an outlet. Fine for me as I had plenty but might be an issue if your computer doesn't have more than two.

Works well on my Amazon Echo
Having the small Amazon echo I needed a little more volume. I tried the echo through my hi-fi using the aux in socket but had to turn on the hi-fi to use it. It was then I thought of using PC amplified audio speakers and found these. I power them from an old USB phone charger and they sit on the shelf of my TV stand, quite unobtrusive, much better tone than expected and the added advantage of a volume control. A little bit dated in the design but for the price unbeatable.

Can't argue for the price
Cheap pair of speakers for the kids computer. The sound quality is as you would expect for the price range - i.e. a bit lightweight. But it is more than adequate for general purposes/YouTube videos,etc. USB powered so don't need to worry about finding an extra socket for it. All in all, pleased with the purchase.
