it is realy hard to get a usb device into it while on the wall you have to take it down to do this

The Sound Bar sounds amazing and of good quality
The Sony sound bar has everything I always wanted in a sound bar. Brings out the sound as if you are the cinema. You can choose a sound on the remote suitable for a particular program but superb when watching movies. I will recommend it everytime

Pre set modes could be better
Sound is pretty good, but probably suits a bigger room as visitors comment it sounds no different to normal telly sound, but when you're in the kitchen sound is booming! The preset modes seem to make little distinguishable difference but the "night" setting seems louder? There is a slight delay (using optical cable), but not half as bad as a Panasonic unit we tried but had to take back.

Much improved sound quality when viewing tv.
A little bit obtrusive as has to sit on top of the tv ‘legs’ but getting used to it and much improved viewing experience with improved sound quality.

Sound bar that let's you hear again
Purchased as a Christmas present for my father in law, it has transformed watching TV. With it's different modes, cinema, music, voice, night etc you can select the best setting for what you are watching, films feel like you are at the cinema, football has more vibrancy, voice mode is great for a drama where the characters seem to whisper (which I am sure they all do these days) and night mode lessens the base so you can stay up late and not disturb those who are asleep. Great purchase.

Works well for intended use
I bought this soundbar for my daughter's playroom to go with her PS4 Pro and 4K TV. It works really well in this set up, connected via the optical lead included in the box. I avoided using HDMI as this soundbar doesn't support HDMI pass-through. The Dolby settings on the PS4 Pro are more than adequate to provide an immersive gaming experience for her and it sounds great with Sky Q too.

Poor Sound quality
Attached to a new Sony Bravia TV to improve sound quality but the quality of the sound from the sound bar was worse than the TV without the sound bar, very tinny. Tried connecting using both optical and hdmi connections as advised, no difference from either connection. Returned product

Great Sound
For the price this soundbar is great value. The sound is crystal clear. Only annoying part is that you cannot turn the bluetooth on with the remote. You have to do it on the bar. Other than that it would have got 5 stars.

Smart and streamlined, looks superb
Bought this for our small kitchen/diner TV, instant nearly cinema sound, great quality, so easy to install and use, and if you press the correct buttons, it comes on with the TV and also goes with the TV, AND if you forget and have used it with your mobile on the bluetooth and forget to switch the soundbar off, aftyer a few minutes of non activity, it switches itself off... Love it, bought two now....

Sound not good and quite large.
Bought this to enhance sound on new Sony tv, but unfortunately there was no. noticeable difference in sound quality so would not recommend.

Not impressed - Sony TV speaker’s better
Not shallow enough to go under TV stand so has to be away. No controls ie. bass/tone etc. Relies on device setting. Needs volume of 64-70 where TV would be 25-30. Connects via ARC fine but standard HDMI+optical is fine if not better. Messes about a bit: yes it’s on, oh no it’s not on. This not being a TV problem Pretty rubbish actually.
