Amazing!!!
This is the most amazing camera ever. Great quality in both 1080 and 4K, 0 and 120 fps are smooth, AF is great and battery life is great too I shoot video and one battery last 3-4 hours. the Menu is way better coming from a6500 and My Menu option is great because you can program your favorite option and you can basically forget boy the other Menu. I wait almost 3 months to get this camera and it is worth it!!!

Great camera for the money!
I have owned the Sony A9 for about a year and the A7 3 is a great complement to it. The camera has so many of the same features, and now has the larger body and battery of the A9. It also shares some of the same focus features and is great in low light. I highly recommend this camera and the entire Sony mirrorless line (and i was a long-time Canon user)

Best Camera 2018
Considering all of the features it packs in a small body and for a fraction of the price of competitors, the Sony A7iii is the best camera of 2018. Great image and video quality, portability, and touch & feel. I wish the camera had a top screen to display information and touchscreen abilities in the menu needs improvement. If you find the body to be small on the hand, an affordable option is the Really Right Stuff Base Plate for Sony; adds great stability and hold for the little finger. Another option could be the Sony VG-C3EM battery grip.

The Best Full Frame Camera for The Money
As a wedding videographer, I own a Sony A6300, Sony A6500 and Sony FS5. I really love the A6500 but felt like I needed a full frame camera so I sold my A6300 and bought the A7III. It really exceeded my expectations far beyond my dreams. 1. This camera gives me the flexibility of jumping back and forth from full frame and super 35mm. 2. The auto-focus is insane! 3. The battery life is amazing! I recommend this camera.

Great camera
I am one of canon users switching over to sony. Picture quality is excellent and easy to use. Small body size is easy to carry around. Almost no shutter sound when I was taking night photo with a cable release. Dynamic range helps when editing photos. I recommend this camera who wants great camera with budget in mind.

First full frame camera
This is my first full frame camera and I love it! It is easy to learn how to use this camera and it takes great photos! Of course I don't know everything this camera is capable of doing as a beginner but I can't wait to learn. I do not regret purchasing this camera in any way.

Stunningly good pictures, with a few quibbles.
I initially thought that I would pass on this camera, until I started seeing pictures taken by it. In a word, the photo quality is outstanding. So far, I've been using a fotodiox adapter and my old Minolta Film (therefore full frame) lenses. I'll be adding an e-mount native lens soon. The overall quality of the photos I've taken so far is very high. The camera itself is quick and quiet. It feels expensive in my hands. I can easily see this b... Show More

Best All-Around Camera
This Sony a7III is actually my second Sony mirrorless camera. I bought the a7rIII a few month ago. Although my a7rIII produces higher resolution photos, I'm not too fond of the file size of the 42MP. Unless you have all the latest card readers and computer system, the files from the a7rIII can slow down your workflow not to mention the extra storage space you would need. This a7III is the perfect for that. The operation is practically identical t... Show More

Sensor Error/Defective unit.
The first thing I did once I received this camera was charge it. Once charged I managed to get some great pictures with the camera and then turned it back off again. Whenever I tried to turn it back on I was unable to. I kept hearing a knocking sound coming as if coming from the sensor. As this was happening, the screen would also flicker and go from white to black. Not sure if I received a defective body unit or a defective battery, but I... Show More

Great camera. Love it.
I had a A7ii for 2 years. A7iii is a big upgrade. Auto focus is amazing. Love the high speed shooting, much longer battery life, silent shutter, dual SD card slots and touch screen to select focus point. Haven't tested the low light performance, but features above are already worth the money. The only drawback I can think of now is it doesn't support time lapse. Hope Sony will release the software soon.

Amazing
Ive been shooting with a Nikon D800 since it came out. Really cant see any difference in my images. Loads of very cool features. 4K video etc etc. Got tired of carrying my Nikon gear around. This with the 35mm prime weights about the same as my iPhone. If your thinking of making the switch...do it

World Domination
It's almost insulting what other manufactures are offering for the price compared to this Sony a7iii. I've been a Canon shooter for 14years, so I have plenty of lenses, but I've made the jump and love this camera. Only issue if you can call it that is video records under another file on SD cards so when you download all your images, you have to download images, then video... not a big deal, but I did format my card for the first time and lost 2 s... The best camera ive owned
ive owned 5 different camera from Canon T1, Canon 7D,Canon 5D3, Fuji etc.The Sony A7iii is the best camera ive owned. Paired with the Sony 24-105 mm lens. Did not regret buying this one.. I major complaint , no battery charger. Sony is getting cheap now and is made in China.

Wow!
A friend and I swapped cameras for an hour or so, my 5DIII for her new Sony a7IIIto check out a variety of lenses, me to shoot some photos with her a7III. Seeing the photos pushed me over the edge to buy the Sony. I decided to pick up a Sony 24-240 just to have one native Sony lens. The others would be Canons and Sigmas using the Sigma MC-11. I still need to really learn the camera, the best use of the auto focus and more. But so far, I am very i... Show More

I really like it.
I'm coming from a Canon 5D mark 2. It was and sill is a really great camera. It's also easily capable of great image quality. The Sony has many worthy upgrades. With the Sigma MC-11, I have been able to use all my Canon L glass and even Sigma lenses without any problems. I'll hold on to most of my Canon lenses. They work fine on the Sony A7 iii for me. Great photographs really are a lot more about skill and ability than equipment. The tools can h... Show More

$2k basic model = features only. Not the IQ
Everyone known that Sony is not the cheap electronics company. Paying $2k for thisbasic model FF sensor mirrorless camera, meaning that we're paying for the top-notch features of using function/option, not paying for the image quality. In low light, pictures noises are same as a6xxx at any lowest ISO (50, 64, 80, 100). Yes, I'd love it's features, and will pay again.

Amazing product. Love it.
This is the fist camera body I've reviewed. I have owned Nikon & Canon cameras, then switched to SONY when we heard of the a7iii release. My fiance and I purchased 2 of them, and the last two weddings we have shot with this camera just made life a lot easier for us. We have tested the battery life on a 12 hour day (which was our primary concern with switching to SONY), and it did the job with just two batteries hybrid shooting both video and stil... Show More

Havana
I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of the quick focusing and sharpness of this Sony model a7iii. The cameras internal stabilization feature gave me clear shooting results even when shooting from a moving bus tour. I also purchased a meta ones adaptor for my canon lenses and it worked great. The Ziess lens 24-105 f4 was an awesome choice working as an alternate lense, very sharp and a great combination. I highly recommend the camera. It helped me record a great vacation experience.
