Brilliant camera, unbeatable spec for price.
Great camera for the price. Lots of features to experiment with as a novice photographer. £100 aftersale cashback made item even more attractive but claiming proved to be quite a complicated process .

Excellent Camera
An exceptional camera for the price range. The camera shoots exceptional photos, easily competes with the Nikon D5500. Can transfer photos direct to phone (great for social media) Features are great and easy to utilise. Small and compact unlike bulky DSLR’s Video is great. Interchangeable camera lens Would recommend to all photographers unless you’re at the stage where you’d be spending thousands on a camera.

This is the best camera i have ever bought...
Want a camera which can match a £1000 dslr...or even dare i say beat it hands down....buy this...a reasonable kit lens....but buy a 50mm sony prime .....wow ....now were talking....this camera will do more for your photography than any heavy dslr...battery is not bad but turn off wifi and boom you will gain a lot more time taking pictures....i have managed 500 but no video...light weight easy to learn...watch youtube if you need to get to grips with menu system...

Stunning Pictures With a this Camera
I was looking for a lightweight equivalent for my Canon SLR as it can be a bit laborious carrying around a big camera bag all the time. I spent weeks looking at all the available alternatives and finally opted for this. All I can say is WOW! What an amazing camera. I have taken around a thousand photos now ranging from outdoors, indoors, caves, national trust houses to name a few places. The low light capability is stunning especially as some of these places do not allow the flash to be used.

Great first camera
My first camera (proper camera) and it is so easy to use. The picture quality using the supplied kit lens is very good and I have taken amazing shots that many friends and family are impressed by. The build quality, being a Sony camera, is excellent as you would imagine. I purchased a glass screen protector and a lens protector/UV filter and help to keep the camera looking new. It is a bit of a steep learning curve at first but the more I play with the camera the more I learn.

Perfect camera for beginners
Best value for an all-round interchangeable lens mirrorless camera.Takes brilliant pictures with no effort. Nice one for a beginner like me. It's easy to use. Just don't expect it to help for your selfie, since the screen cannot tilt 180 degrees. And no touchscreen, but it's fine since i don't really need it anyway. It contains one battery, but back-up batteries are necessary if you do not want to miss any beautiful scenery!

Supplied unused (seals still intact) which is unusual for Argos, a lot of Argos items are customer returns. Good camera for casual use, lens is not the best quality but you can get some reasonable images if used correctly ie not on muppet mode

Before to buy the cam we did some research about the camera. As we found only positive results we decided to go for it. Perfect pics and better and more easy use than DSLR. NFC is a big help !

Best quality for so little money
What can i say about this camera amazing, I have owned my Sony A6000 for just over a week now and it has been nothing short of perfect. I am a videographer so purchased this for the video and some picture taking, and it has taken high-quality, professional photos. . If you're a beginner photographer / videographer looking to get into either landscape or portrait photography, and cinematic video this is the camera for you!

I took this to an outdoor classical concert and filmed in MP4 The image quality was very good the autofocus was exellent and sound was very good , the microphone tho dose pick up your breathing sound when close up looking through the view finder , and the camera strap rings rattle againsthe casing (so take them off ), but only noticeable during quiet moments.BUT.you cannot transfer acvhd quality vids to IOS DEVICES they must be converted to MP4. And you have to use Sony playmemories app

This camera make very good pictures!
It is the best camera what I ever had. It make amazing pictures and it's easy to use. I just had problem with connection by NFC with my phone. I really recommend this.

I am in love with this camera!
I am amazed by the picture quality and detail captured! The colours are so vibrant, the filters and features are easy to work and the burst shots have blown me away by how quick and accurate each frame is! So happy I bought it.

DSLR function and quality at half the price
Brilliant product. Awesome photos and stunning video. The Sony software (PlayMemories) is pants, but the camera itself is amazing. It was recommended to me by a professional photographer, and I use it for work (landscape, macro and action shots). The Auto-upload wifi does not work with all the routers/WAPs I've tried, but if I create a private hotspot between my laptop and camera via my iPhone, it works perfectly so I'm sure its router/WAP settings and the forums seem to agree.

A step in the right direction
Purchased this camera a while back now and having played around with it I have to say it was worth it! The camera quality is great and the video recording is amazing! Still fairly new to this camera though so I can expect a lot more to come from it due to the apps you can download onto the camera! worth the purchase!!

Sony A6000 camera
After charging the battery, could not get it to work, after some 3hrs gave up. Returned & got money back. Problem was wouldn't accept my SD card, tried several. Recurring mesage was ' card needs formatting'. Never had this message on any camera before. Checked the manual, indicted a fault.

Love it!
Had my eye on this for a while as I was after a more professional camera (I previously had a simple point and shoot) and this did not disappoint. Very impressed with picture quality and after watching a few YouTube videos and learning some more I have had great fun putting what I saw into action. Really looking forward to taking it on my summer holiday.
