Sonos Play 1
Good sound coming from a small unit. However, it is limited if you want to play music from your music collection using apps other than Itunes. Also if you want to play podcasts from your stored library it will only play them if they are on your device storage i.e. they won't play podcasts from an SD card.

Great sound
Great sound from this small but powerful speaker. Paired with TV Beam. Took several attempts to set up, including a factory reset, but once done, it works well.

Amazing small speaker
For a speaker of its size I think this is amazing technology. As a deejay I like to hear crisp notes and deep undistorted bass. This small thing has brought all that and it is so "kind" to the ear you just cannot fail it. As a "TV" family it has been amazing how we have switched the telly off and listened to music we already knew but hearing new notes, discovery.

Great unobtrusive speaker
Looked online, store had the speaker. Decided not to click and collect so just turned up at store. Ordered from the electronic pad, went to counter, paid, got speaker. Got home, set up speaker, very easy, my Mum or Dad could have done it. Total time spent sorting this, from looking up online to actually hearing something, just under an hour. Argos great, speaker great! Happy days.

Amazing
Not the easiest to connect up but after resetting my internet it connected up fine. Purchased this to connect to my sonos beam and the other play 1 I have in order to create 5.1 surround sound. It's incredible. The other half doesn't seem to think so but with the volume up I can't hear her complaining.

Great speaker
Great sound great looks and well worth the price. Love the way that you can control music from Spotify or similar with your phone but still use your phone without interrupting the music. Only reason I didn’t give full marks was the inability to play sound from YouTube etc like you would if it was Bluetooth. Awesome non the less.

Great speaker for sound quality, but not the easiest to add to my WiFi at home as they don’t like WiFi extenders. Found solution on the Sonos website (hard wire one and they create their own mesh network).

Good quality sound and easy to set up
I’m a bit of a Luddite so generally go for the easiest option with technology. Everybody recommended Sonos for what I wanted. It is easy to set up and use.

I was dubious about spending so much money on a speaker, and spent weeks deciding whether or not to get one...but I’m so glad that I did. It is by far the best wireless speaker I have owned, the sound quality is amazing, and it is LOUD :-D I would recommend the Sonos Play to everyone- if you love music then you need this in your life!

Superb Sonos
A great quality product from Sonos. The weight and feel of the speaker says a lot about the quality of the item. The sound quality is excellent as a stand alone speaker, much better then a pair of my old bookcases speakers, but it really comes into its own when you twin it with another and run them as a stereo pair. The improvement in sound quality is significant and well worth buying a second speaker. Easy to connect to existing Sonos system.

Sonosiferous
Hummed and hawed for ages about buying this but really glad I did. The sound is crisp and clear and the bass resonant even at low volume. Very easy to set up and seems well made. It is surprisingly heavy. Bought another one a week later.

Sonos Play...Eventually
The Sonos play1 speakers really do have a good sound, particularly when customised for the room & working as a stereo pair. However I did have a problem loading my iTunes library which was eventually solved by the Sonos helpline after several hours on the phone.

Excellent sound just wish it had more connections
The speaker was pretty much as I expected from a high end manufacturer I mainly use it in conjunction with amazon alexa and it does work seamlessly. The sound quality is very good and the volume is more than adequate the main issue I have is that it is quite expensive and it would have benefitted from other inputs like an audio jack.

Sonos is amazing!
Sonos is so simple to set up, download the app, plug the speaker into the mains and allow it to connect through your home Wi-Fi! Looks amazing in every room too and sounds fantastic. You can link in pairs for full stereo sound or use individual as a standalone stereo for each room.
