I'd decided to replace my rather ancient 13 year old television for a newer, larger and 'smarter' model. Having settled on my choice of model, I was surprised to learn that Argos offered the best price with instant availability. Not only that but by the time I actually got around to ordering the television, the price had been reduced even further, wiping out the delivery charge! The picture is incredible! The sound crisp! 'Catch up' a breeze! A 5-star purchase!

Love this tv.
I absolutely love this tv. The picture quality is amazing, especially when watching in 4K. The sound is great too. Only have two complaints, firstly the feet aren’t adjustable so had to buy separate stand as not mounted to a wall and my tv unit not wide enough. Should of measured first. Secondly I can’t connect my surround sound system as too old and the new tv uses WiFi/ Bluetooth connectivity for sound bar etc. Aside from that would defo recommend this tv.

Very impressed
I am really impressed with my new led tv , its very easy to setup the installation guide covers all details, the picture quality is hd and gives a feeling of watching the program in real life , the sound quality is outstanding and there are no glitches , the tv comes with wifi setup so can use Amazon Prime , Netflix, and other options, i am extremely happy with my purchase and will give it a score of 10/10 and will definitely recommend it to friends and family

Excellent entry level 55inch TV
We have had this Samsung TV for over a month now and cannot fault it. The picture is very good quality in high definition and brilliant in ultra HD and 4K. The sound is clear and easily loud enough for our average size living room, we have a sound bar but will only choose to use it for watching movies. The operating system is smooth and fast, we particularly like the blue tooth function for using the headphones. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

Outstanding picture and sound quality
Bought this a replacement for an old 50"lg model that died. The difference in picture quality is astounding and the speakers provide an immersive atmosphere. The integration of Netflix and prime video allowed us to get rid of the external boxes to stream these and also allowed us to stream in 4k uhd too. Have had samsung TVs before and have never had any problems in their manufacture and have complete faith that this model will be just as trustworthy.

Great Value!!
With new QED tech now available i'm sure you will find many TV's with better picture quality, but for the price this LED TV its great value. New QED TV's are more than double the price for an equivalent size and if they are not side by side would you really notice the difference? Sound quality is fairly good but its never going to be great from a standard TV speaker so pretty much what you would expect... Easy set up and controls. A great buy!!

Brilliant TV, Brilliant Price!!
I purchased this TV after decorating my living room. I had a Samsung which is still going strong after 10 years, just I wanted something much bigger to go with the TV unit I bought. I can't complain any this TV at all, I have used it a lot to play games and the quality is so sharp. No hassle connecting to the Internet and finding channels. Sound is very good even though I use a soundbar. For the price, you won't be disappointed.

Great 55" Smart TV
Very pleased with this Samsung 55" smart TV. Great price, beautiful HD picture and even did away with a sound bar I previously used for my Panasonic TV as the sound is so good. Plenty of hdmi and usb ports on the rear and the smart TV includes Apple TV, Netflix and Amazon as well as many more streaming apps and so much quicker to load than my streaming box. Overall am very pleased with this purchase so far and would recommend.

Annoying wall fittings
Fantastic TV, but very frustrating that the wall mount fittings on the back of the TV do not fit a standard universal wall mount. The screw holes are absolutely massive and you will need to have buy or source machine screws - sizes M8 43/45 to fit the holes in the back of TV, why Samsung do not supply these is beyond me! I had TV delivered at 10am & was not able to put on wall until 5pm that night after shopping for the screws.

Amazing Value!!
How can this TV not get top marks? Looks amazing, sound quality is top notch and literally plug and play. It’s my first smart TV and I’m loving it. Was using a fire stick before and this is do much easier. The remote control has direct buttons for Netflix and Amazon. The value here is superb. Delivery was quick and the delivery driver was also a legend and helped bring it in. Very happy with this purchase. Thanks Argos.

Amazing tv.
We brought a new house and our 6 year old ex display 40 inch samsung tv just wasnt cutting it anymore so we bit the bullet and started shopping for TVs, as our last tv was samsung and had lasted 6 years with no issues we spent a little more and went for another samsung and wow what a tv! It's great it's got it's own built in internet tv, netflix, Amazon prime so on... and the game mode on the ps4 is spot on too! Perfect tv!

My Tv Looks Absolutely Stunning
Bought this tv as a Xmas present for my family and they love it! To me this is a all round perfect tv for your family room or a games room. Tried out my xbox one X and its outstanding graphics really makes this product stand out from others. Jaw Dropping picture quality with Tremendous Sound features, Really makes you feel like your there in the film/Game. Really took My breath away to see how far Samsung have come.

The best TV I ever bought
The picture quality is amazing, I never seen as sharp picture from a TV that this device provides. The sound is good considering the available space for the speakers. It has bluetooth built in so I can easily connect my sound bar and bluetooth headphones at the same time. The only downside is the built in browser, it’s difficult to navigate on the web with the remote. Setup took 2minutes only, very easy process.

Looks good and works brilliantly.
This is an excellent piece of kit. My only problem has been the "setting-up". However, I contacted a friend, whose a "bit of a boffin", and he did it for me. The results are excellent. The set-up instructions really are complicated in the extreme. However, once they are done the set is fine. The sound quality is a little concerning, so I intend to test it with a sound bar in my constant search for perfection.

Good buy.
This tv has a very clear screen. Samsung never lets you down in that aspect. The sound quality is a bit hit and miss with this tv which wasn’t such an issue with the old Samsung tv. Sometimes it’s too loud and sometimes having it on 40 is not enough. The plastic on the back is quite flimsy. Connecting this tv to wifi and phones is very easy. So far I have used the iphone screen mirroring and it’s amazing.

Great TV for the price
This TV has everything you’d want from a modern 4K TV, the Samsungs are the best in my opinion and especially as they’re the only tv that comes with the BT Sport app which you can now watch 4K through. The quality is great and the sound was surprisingly good too, I’ll still likely use a soundbar but considering how some tvs are these days it’s pretty good. Easy to set up and link to your phone too.

Best TV I've ever owned
This is far and away the best TV I've owned. I went £100 over my planned budget and I'm SO glad I did. Picture is faultless, sound is amazing. I have Bluetooth headphones for gaming they connected easily. Easy to set up, wireless connects to the WiFi from downstairs and the hub for apps is slick and easy to navigate. I am more than happy with the purchase. If you are on the fence, just buy it.

Broke seven days After purchase
First, if you buy the tv It doesn't come with screws to fix it to the wall brackets you will need M8 50ml x4 that was a let down as we had to run round to buy some. Second , the tv connects to Alexa but only To turn on and off. Third whilst watching the tv on the 8 the day of having it picture went so had to return it . For the short period I had the tv picture was good easy to connect some was good.

Amazing!
This is an amazing tv for an amazing price and Argos have been absolutely fantastic. I originally purchased a 43” LG TV 6 months ago then exchanged it for a 43” Hitachi which caused me numerous problems. After numerous effort’s with Hitachi supportand getting nowhere Argos agreed I could exchange for this 55” Samsung TV which is another level from the previous two. Great TV and thank you Argos.

very Fast and extreme quality, sound is incredibl!
Spot on tv, very fast and the screen’s Spectacular, the sound is even better, literally no need for a sound bar or an additional speakers it’s more then enough. 100% fantastic tv Make sure you have a WiFi machine at home. Iv used 27gb of internet in the period of 3 days as it requires a lot of internet to give you the best quality. Highly recommend all day long. Shout out to Samsung and Argus!!

Great deal and fantastic picture quality
We had a great deal from Argos and had help getting it into the car. Easy to set up and I cannot believe the quality of the picture.Glad we chose 55", although I was unsure about the size when we ordered it.No worries, fitted into same place as old tv and we can see so much more on the bigger screen.It`s like being at the cinema.Would recommend this to anyone.So pleased we chose Samsung.Good value.

Black Friday was a good one
Bought this Samsung TV at an amazing price, I really thought it would be decent but I am really surprised by the overall quality. The TV has great connectivity with 3 HDMI sockets and 2 USB. You get a Fab picture and it's pretty sleek looking, the biggest surprise is the sound quality, I normally use a sound bar but tv volume is really strong so not needed. Highly recommended and really happy.

Best value TV I could find.
Our criteria for buying a TV was simple. We wanted a smart TV and a 55 inch screen. We chose the Samsung because we already have one in the kitchen which we like and is easy to use. The Argos price was the best, and they delivered it next day. I'm not clever, but installation was a dream and we are ecstatic about both picture and sound - no need for a sound bar. All in all, very very happy.

Great tv and best picture and sound found
It’s a great tv for the price. I bought an hitachi first but it was terrible so went for trusty samsung and was not let down. The picture is so crisp the sound is solid and it’s easy to use. The tv automatically picks up any other smart tech in the home and connects easily. Another nice touch is when you switch on your games console the tv changes to game mode with no help from you.
