Samsung 2TB T5 Portable Solid-State Drive (Black)
Great all-in-one drive.
Love this little drive, it works seamless out of the box for both Mac and PC. Has handled almost 1TB of backups with ease. Like that it comes with both USB C and USB A cables. Also has a simple program to password-protect your files. Only complaint would be it doesnt have more robust backup software with it, but you can buy those from third parties.

A SOLID SSD
Got this when it was on sale from BH. Ordered the 500gb to take with me for travel video editing on my MacBook Pro. The write/read speed on this bad boy is INSANE! Its responsiveness is immediate and you can easily edit 4K footage directly off it. Feels a little flimsy as far as the plastic is concerned but just be careful with all of your electronics and dont drop it. Amazing little guy!

Works as advertized
The large 2-TB storage, very fast read and write speeds, and the small physical size, all combine to make a great mobile storage package. The only down side is that it is expensive.

Samsung T5
I purchased the 1tb version and have had no issues. This is one of the fastest ssds that I have used. I mainly use mine for video editing and it is incredibly fast and has improved my editing experience for the better. I highly recommend this product for any video editiors.

Small, portable, well-made, fast
Quite portable. Fits easily into my setup. Im using this as a backup disk, formatted APFS. Fast: 395 MB/s sequential read, using USB-A USB-A and USB-C cables are provided. Each of the cables is only about 17 in length, but that is probably sufficient for most users. Indicator LED is on the backside, where the cable attaches, instead of being on the front.

small and fast
Very convenient and appears to be well made. Much faster than any thumb drive Ive used. On Windows shows up as an internal drive so you should shut down before connecting or disconnecting. On Linux shows up as a SCSI drive which can be mounted or unmounted while the system is running.

Nice product
This my third T5 SSD that I have purchased. I use them for small video projects in a high school setting with shared computers that I dont want left on the computer hard drives. They are handy and help keep things organized. So far so good.

Very fast and not expensive
Using with Mac mini 2018 usb-c connection. Speeds as advertised ~500mb/s read - ~500mb/s write. Formatted as APFS everything works well.

Spectacular proformance

Fast & Portable
This SSD is fast! As soon as it is plugged in the computer opens a window for it. Its snappy enough to edit photos very quickly and Im sure it would tackle video just fine. Its very small and I plan on traveling with it to back up my photo and video. It is great for keeping current projects, because it is so small and fast that it is always ready for whatever you throw at it. I highly recommend it!

A fast as I hoped
The impressive speed (upload/download) is only attained when doing so from another SSD. If downloading or uploading to/from a regular external or internal hard drive, youll not get anywhere near the rated speed

A very compact 1TB ssd
I use this device to store large datasets for deep learning. It is was easy to set up, works seamlessly between Mac and Ubuntu (havent tried Windows, but should not be an issue). Its small, light, fast and replaces multiple USB drives.

This product has exceeded my expectations.
I use the Samsung 500GB T5 Portable SSD (Blue) primarily to backup the numerous document and picture files on my laptop. This SSDs data capacity and transfer speed, portability, password encryption, and rankings in published independent expert reviews were important criteria in my purchasing decision. Without reservation, I highly recommend this fine product.

Good drive, but buy a separate cable
I almost lost a huge lightroom catalog when I first started using this because the cable that came with it kept disconnecting and reconnecting during file writing operations. Fortunately I was saved because I backed everything up. I immediately threw out the cable that came with the drive and used another USB 3.1 Gen2 cable I had and I havent had any further trouble since then.

Super portable with speed
First, I really like the ExFat formatting right out the box. This will allow you to read and write across Windows and Mac platforms, a feature which is important for me. Second, its so small and consumes little power when your computer is on battery. I have 2 and see a 3rd in my future

Samsung 1TB T5 portable SSD
Received and used the SSD, small size, easy to carry in travel; large capacity, 1TB; fast, my laptop has USB 3 only, the transfer rate was close to 2xx MB/s. The traditional external hard drives will stay home from now on.

Works great with Mac and Windows
Plug & play with Mac and Windows. Fast data transfer. Small physical dimensions. Great tool to have. I have a couple of TB of raw files on external disk drive. MacBook Pro has 256 GB of SSD. I was not using Lightroom smart preview because internal SSD does not have enough capacity and external disk drive may have performance issue. Powerful & Durable
This tiny cute thing can go 480M/s to read and 520M/s to write with just less than twice than Airpods. The only mater is the price however I got it when has a $70 discount. If you need a powerful portable tiny SSD, thats the one at least you should consider about.
