Roland has been 100% invested in digital technology since 1972 when Yahama and Kawai were only stretching piano wire . And it shows. I was a little unsure what this unit would be like but after reading the specs and watching a couple of video reviews I took the plunge and ordered a Roland FP-90 online and a couple of days later and despite UPS's best efforts I received a perfectly intact and functioning FP-90 which is a testament to the way Roland packaged the thing up, (the box arrived with a huge hole on one side). Poor quality and delivery.
I know that this was the piano I want from the start and out of searching for the right supplier, I consider B&H because of price and package options they offer. However, I do not know if they really value their customers as they delivered this in a damaged box. Large holes penetrated the keyboard itself and made a dent on its speaker panels. Its just OK.
This keyboard is just okay. I think it is highly overpriced and that the sound is not nearly as good as they claim it is. Nowhere near the sound of an acoustic piano. No matter what you do to try to customize the sound. It is also very heavy like they say. There are not adequate instructions and it is not user-friendly. I only got it because of the microphone input and the Bluetooth capability. I would have bought Yamaha but they only use Apple products for interfacing which killed that deal for me.

Excellent digital piano with nice key feel
I am very satisfied with the purchase. I think the key feel is outstanding, making you forget you are playing in a digital piano. The sound is outstanding, but obviously better on a professional headphone than on the built in speakers. I was considering an Yamaha P-125 and opted for the FP-30 due to more options of connectivity. The bundle with piano stand and pedals is very good, solid with no wobbling. The bench adds a nice touch to it.

Great digital piano!
I just got this Roland FP-30 and its a great digital piano. The weight and feel of the keys though not exactly like a real acoustic piano, its still very nice. The speakers also get very loud and sound good. The extra sounds you can play around with are a nice touch as well. This digital piano is a great value for the money with what youre getting!

Its just OK.
I chose this over a Yamaha because it has Bluetooth capability and a microphone input. Also can be used with Android products. It is however overpriced and the sound is nothing like an acoustic piano no matter how you try to customize it. It is also not user-friendly and there are not adequate instructions for it.

Really Nice Piano
Very nice instrument. Great piano sounds, and lots of other included sounds. Really like the realistic feel of the keys and the fact that each key is individually weighted progressively lighter from bottom to top. Of all electric pianos, this one feels most like a real acoustic. A great deal for the money!

It's a great instument, especially for the price.
I really like it. Most important to me was touch sensitivity and it has that. Plus there are a lot of interesting sounds built into it, besides a traditional piano sound. I feels like I am playing an old fashioned acoustic piano. Also, nice simple design.

Love its hammering action feeling
For an entry-level digital piano, Roland FP-30 has the best action feeling with new PHA-4. It is what we can't find on other entry-level digital pianos. I am very satisfied with that. Piano sound itself is good, too even though it depends on the person.
