Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset

Fantastic virtual reality!

Fantastic vr experience but make sure your pc or laptop hardware has the required specifications to run vr. My laptop just meets the requirements so I would advise a better specification if possible as I'm sure the experience would be even better. That aside the Oculus is fantastic and a must if you are considering this type of experience. I use it for games, work and home 360 videos and photos.

Unbelievable!

Bought as a Christmas present for my husband, we are both amazed by the quality - even though we thought we knew what to expect, we’re absolutely blown away by playing on it. Easy set-up, is currently being used by the whole family from our six year old to fifty-three year old.

Incredible VR

If you want to get into virtual reality, have a desktop or laptop PC that can handle VR (i.e. enough RAM, up-to-spec graphics card, enough USB 3.0 ports), and enough space in your office/living room then you cannot go wrong with the Rift + Touch bundle. The packaging is very sturdy; setting up the Rift, Touch controllers, and sensors on my PC was very simple; and the Oculus Home software is very accessible, very reliable, and hosts a very large number of VR applications both free and paid-for.

top piece of kit ,but expensive

excellent bit of kit for an adventure into world of virtual reality if you don't wear glasses unlike I do found it very difficult to use and being careful not to scratch the lenses inside of unit and my glasses .but if you don't need need optical help would recommend

Amazing headset

This headset delves into the best technological breakthrough of 2018. Game changer

Best gadget I’ve bought in years, makes compatible games very immersive, plenty of titles for the kids and grownups, games ranging from in-depth simulations to casual ones. Found plenty of apps for kids, ranging from educational to entertainment, there’s also some nice art apps which allows you to model life size creations.

OCULUS RIFT

Bought for my Son's 21st. He thinks it's absolutely amazing, although to be honest I did have a go myself. Unfortunately it tends to make me feel motion sick, but would certainly recommend and would purchase again. Just brilliant, takes gaming to a whole new level.

It's The Future!

Pretty easy to set up though I had a problem with sensor divers not installing but it did a self update then worked fine. Tracking is spot on so no nausea and itbe had some incredible experiences with it and I feel I've barely scratched the surface from beat saber and super hot to touring the heartbreaking Anne Frank house . If you don't mind splashing the cash (interest free for 12 months on argos card) go for it

Not bad its a bit of a fiddle to set up way to many wires make your room messy quite immersive but also the foam always makes your face,sweat blurring the lenses by steaming them up. I searched for face masks to prevent it but the only ones i could find were cloth style ones which did not work at all Not good for shooter games because their is no VR gun available for this device as opposed to psvr, also does not like games purchased from any place other than the oculus store

Absolutely brilliant

I purchased the Occulus Rift for my son and its the best money I've ever spent, he absolutely loves it, just make sure you have plenty of room to play as he's rapped his knuckles a few times on his desk lol can highly recommend.

Oculus Rift is awesome!

Oculus rift setup is simply amazing. I haven't compared it to other VR headsets but for a first time be user it blows you away. Ok the pixel density could be improved a bit and maybe the field of view could be slightly wider, but don't get me wrong they are still super impressive. Runs perfect on a mid range gaming PC (i5 with a gtx1060). Price of a console but takes you to.another world. The hand and head movement feels so fluid and real it's just weird! I love it.

The first selling point is the price. You get 2 Sensors, 2 Touch, the headset and some free software. Including Dead and Buried as a fun ghostly wild west shooter with Luigi Mansion style graphics. It is less bulky than the HTC and will work with Steam. The Touch controllers are also more comfortable than the Vive to as I found them easier to use when playing games like Space Pirate Trainer and Arizona Sunshine. Taking 1 AA battery each.(lasting 30 hours).

My son bought this from money for his 13th Brithday, coupled with a GTX 1060 card on his PC this rocks, in his new VR world. Fantastic product.

I'm addicted to it

I've tried the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift. I prefer the Oculus rift from far, just because the controllers are so immersive. Seriously, I find myself playing Rick & Morty, Job Simulator, Beat Saber... for hours.

Superb

oculus rift

Well iv only tried a hdk2 before and that didn't have hand tracking and limited room tracking and was very heavy , this on the other hand is very light on your head/face and has hand tracking the only gripe i have is your face sweats around where the goggles fit this has nothing to do with the rift they all do it but i think you can get face masks .

Great fun.. better than expected.

Great fun when using games and software designed for VR. Playing any horror title has to be experienced first hand. The immersion makes it very scary compared to films and standard games.

Virtual Reality , lot less stressful than reality

Very surprised at the result worth the money just need quite a beefy pc to run it , min spec 8 core CPU and 970gtx 16gb ram.
