Ergonomic keyboards are great
My hands and wrists never tire when I am using an ergonomic keyboard. I have one on each computer that I use. I would not go back. The keyboard can be used with the natural angle of the arm that does ot include bending the wrists.

Great Product for Dealing with Stress
I suffered a wrist injury and noticed it wasn't healing. This was especially evident after hours at the keyboard and I could feel stress on the outside of my wrist. My department's IT director ordered me a Microsoft Keyboard (model 4000), and the problems immediately ceased. I liked the keyboard so much that I bought my own for use with my home PC. I could not be happier!

Almost perfect
This is the 4th ergonomic keyboard from Microsoft that I have purchased and used and I refuse to return to the old flat keyboard. Typing is effortless, since I adjusted to the altered keyboard shape with the first one I owned. My one complaint, and the reason I have had multiple keyboards is that the letters on the keys wear off in a year or so of use. While I am a touch typist I prefer to have the letters showing.

Best keyboard
I honestly cannot work without this keyboard. Comfortable and reasonably priced. Bought it for myself at work when I switched jobs because I couldn't live without it.

Truly ergonomic
When my old ergonomic keyboard died, I read reviews to decide on a new one and ordered this one. When it came, all I had to do was plug it in and it was working. It is even more comfortable than my old one, particularly because of the forward tilt and the articulated keys. The only drawback is that it did not come with a manual, so I don't know how to set up the special function keys, which I think would be very useful.

Perfect for programmers
I have been a programmer with daily keyboard use for over 14 years and I am on my third NEK 4000...spilled water on last one but wore the other one out. It is very quiet and comfortable.

Best for what it is in its bracket
This is the second one of these keyboards I've bought; the first one failed after several years because I'm rather abusive toward keyboards. The ergonomic shape it very nice, and it works well for me, even being a touch-typist. There's a decent amount of feedback on the keys, as well. I do wish that someone made a mechanical ergonomic keyboard, but the only ones out there are prohibitively expensive. This does the job and does it well.

Great keyboard!!
This is the second Natural Ergonomic keyboard by Microsoft that I have had since 2001. I LOVE this style keyboard. I believe it has saved me from having health related wrist issues. This keyboard lasts, it works great and it's entertaining! (it's fun to watch coworkers try it for the first time) Great product for the money!

i would buy another one
The first one have a problem with the space bar but they change to another one which was fine a really like it just i need to use more again more because the keyboard split space is is wear but good for me. Also the price is very good too, just make sure if you buy it check the space bar and that's it.

Better than most ergonomic keyboards
Comfortable design, nice, soft touch on the keys and good key layout. The programmable keys are a big plus helping to do less mouse work.

Poor Design
Could not use this keyboard. The spacebar was extremely difficult to engage. This might have been a result of the fact that it was very long and not well supported.

Ergonomic Keyworks for Compromised Hands
I got this keyboard when I got my new Mac Pro Computer. My old Mac and Logitech ergonomic keyboard worked beautifully. Didn't need t anything. I find it easier to type with this ergonomic keyboard. It is even nicer than the picture shows. The area where your hands rest has a soft leather look and feel to it. I am extremely pleased!!

nice kybd
excellent kybd except when it first arrived the space bar took some usage before it lost a hitch when you push on it. and it still does it occasionally. (hitch= mechanical resistance)

Just what we wanted
Ergonomic keyboard is well made and feels fairly sturdy. Love the fact that it comes with a 3 year warranty. I have had an older mdel of this same keyboard and it held up great.

It'll do
It's not the best quality and I would MUCH RATHER have my old keyboard (that they discontinued) but it'll do. The keys are horrible and if you take the bottom part off it makes it better on the wrists. Wish they hadn't discontinued mine and I'm not crazy about this one but it's better then the square ones.

Keyboard saves my hands
I use this keyboard for long hours every day. It is in a home office where I write proposals, articles, emails, etc. Comfort is my primary goal since I have had nerve surgery on both hands and need ergonomic safety to make work possible. Data entry was never this much fun
I use the keyboard seven out of eight work hours a day. It's important to be comfortable when sitting at the computer for so long. This keyboard has been a great purchase. It keeps my shoulders separated and my arms/wrists in a great position so that I don't stiffen up. I feel as though my typing has gotten quicker and I make fewer mistakes. It did take some getting used to,but a week into and I'm loving it. No regrets.

Black keys are annoying.
It's a keyboard. It's ergonomic. It does what it is supposed to do. My only complaint, more like a little whinge, is that the black keys and black background, combined with a slightly different layout (arrow keys and their ilk, mostly) from my last keyboard, make it necessary to turn on a light sometimes.

Good ergonomic keyboard
Too few other ergonomic keyboards around. This is one of the better ones. I took one star off because the keys are not as smooth as I expected. Too much friction if you do not tap them perfectly perpendicular. It is most obvious (and annoying) on the space bar.
