No good for Skype

I bought these headphones for Skype calling. My main complaint is you cannot hear yourself speak because the ear cushions seal around your ears. So you end up shouting and getting a sore throat. These would be perfect if you only wanted to listen to music for example, but they sound completely unnatural when trying to have a phone conversation. Second complaint is there is an unnecessarily bulky volume control box built in to the wire which drags the left hand side of the headset down.

I needed a quick fix as my old headphones broke. Needed a USB headset and this was perfect, did the job wonderfully! Thanks
