Great for every day use
I had a Surface 3, the spiritual predecessor of this tablet. The Surface Go is much faster in the 8GB/128GB SSD format. For every day light computing use, the tablet is great and does everything very quickly. Browsing the web, watching videos and running desktop Microsoft Office is all flawless. Surface Go great computer but high price for its size
I purchased I surface go 10 and liked it so much I purchaed a second one. It is a nice computer. I find it is fast for its size. The computer is priced at $544.00 but you can not do much if you only purchase the computer. I Purchased the Surface Go type cover and found I like it very much. That added $99.00 to the price. Not as bad as I thought
When I got this, I was devastated, because I forgot the Windows S does not allow non-Microsoft apps unless you convert it to Windows 10. There is no way to know whether Windows 10 will work very well or not, and you get only one chance. Great Portable Always Connected Windows Device
As a self employed IT consultant, I need remote service capability to my client networks, regardless of wifi availability. This device has replaced my Surface 3 LTE, and is it smaller, lighter and faster. Additionally, the keyboard and track pad are greatly improved. Best Budget Tablet PC on the Market!
This tablet PC doesnt come with the fancy accessories and wont be a full laptop replacement, but it does exactly what its designed to do. This thing is amazing for travel; just the right size and feel. The touchscreen, storage capacity and build quality are amazing for this price point. Im a Mac user, but hate iPads, so this is the perfect alternative to run full applications with very few restrictions. This is not a gaming machine, so dont expect that! However, it handles multitasking productivity incredibly well, and plays HD videos flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Everything I heard was true
I immediately switched to full windows 10 and installed my non-Microsoft apps with no bad surprises. I travel a lot overseas and will make it my travel computer instead of my heavy laptop or Android tablet that wont run Windows programs. It is surprisingly fast for a lightweight cpu. I did get the 8 GB memory and 128 GB storage version. And the B&H price was the best of any other vendor.

Microsoft surface GO 8gb
purchase price was sale, B&H order handling as always was great. Ordered and received next day. Pasking perfect. Unit is working excellent. Ordered with pen stylus, excellent. Microsoft limited software upgraded to full Windows 10 was smooth. Installed a 256gb micro flash drive for all my songs and photos. Fast. Great product, this was wifi only version to use with my phone as Hotspot.

Better than expected
Running Adobe 4 and Capture NX2. WordPerfect Office with Paradox as well as the Microsoft Office full package run easily. Limit the number of concurrent applications and you have a great portable working computer. I carry and Android device but need a real computer to work. There arent as any apps, but I have the whole host of shareware authors who have always made Windows great.

So-so tablet
I bought this tablet to access my company email. I thought a Windows device would be better suited for Outlook and other MS products. I upgraded to Windows Home. Not sure if it is because of that upgrade but I find that there is noticeable latency in typing in Outlook, something I don't see on my iPad. Word to the wise.

I'm impressed
I have it only for a few days and I'm impressed. It is lightweight, with a fair speed. All MS products run smooth and fast. The only negative app so far was iTunes which I like to use for movies, and it doesn't work at all. I recommend it for road warriors.

Great travel computer with plenty of power and storage.
As a photographer who travels a lot, the Surface Go is a great travel computer with plenty of power and storage. I certainly wouldnt replace my desktop with it, but its great for packing light and uploading my pictures until I return home.

Looks nice, but poor quality
Looks nice but wont boot without forcing restart each and every time you open the typepad - and the power button feels extremely cheaply attached. Sent it back. Skip this version and order the Pro from another retailer.

So Far, So Good as a 2ndary Device
I use it at a secondary device to my Surface Book 2. Other than the mediocre battery life (which must improve on the 2nd Gen version) it has met my expectations!

Awkward
Keyboard attachment is awkward. Tablet crashes. Go for the version with the 128GB SSD or skip it. Very difficult to boot form USB.
