almost spent more on a more expensive microphone but this was a steal. will be using it for podcasting and also recording music at home. once you set it up and understand how to change the levels its is a great option to add to my collection without breaking the bank. wife is happy and my son now wants to use it for his YouTube channel.

These are great for the price! Not a competitor for the ElectroVoice RE20 mic obviously, put if your looking for a similar sound on a tight budget, this is as close as you're going to get.

I have no complaints about the mic. Recording on It has become part of my everyday routine and has actually motivated me to write more songs.

I purchased two of the MPM-1000 for voicing over digitally converted 8mm movies. I have them mated to a MOTU M4 audio interface feeding into a Mac mini M1 using GarageBand as the recording software. Voices sound natural a lot better than onboard iPad or iPhone mics. I have also used the MPM-1000 in recording sound effects, crashing stacks of lumber and metal hardware in a garage never sounded so great! For the price the build quality and sound dynamics are outstanding to this amateur sound engineer.

This is a super and affordable mic for many situations - I use it to capture a choir and musicians and feed the audio into an analog mixer. I also use it for recording solo musicians. I recommend two at least for most situations so you can capture true stereo audio. It's a little heavy as well, so make sure your mic stands are study and connections are tight.

I'm not an expert, I'm a user who want excellent quality voice audio for podcasting. This mic is great. It gives me what I want, through my Behringer USB interface. Simple, solid, not at all fussy. I love it.

I was looking for an inexpensive entry lvl XLR mic. And this one fit the bill nicely. I have it paired with a Focusrite Scarlet and mainly use it for things like streaming or Discord and my voice is clear. And it is much smaller and lighter than the old Yeti USB that I was using before.

Works very well and makes clean recordings. I like the holder and the mini tripod. It seems to be a little quiet; I have to be really close to the microphone to get a loud enough recording.
