Absolutely Brilliant
I recently purchased this TV as I had a cheaper 4K previously, and unfortunately damaged it. I thought I would bite the bullet and go with a trusted brand, and boy I wasn’t disappointed!. This TV is very easy to setup, has endless apps and are easily accessible, has superb sound and picture quality, whether for playing games on a console or watching movies on Netflix. I can honestly say although pricier this blows my old TV out of the water, and it’s the best purchase I’ve made yet. Recommend.

Brilliant 4K Ultra Nano Cell TV
Amazing TV the Picture is Brilliant once you turn off all the Tru Motion and the other settings off they make the picture look fake but now it's all off it's amazing and watching the Tennis in UHD was Brilliant the Sound Quality is really Good as well the smart functions all work Great but takes a couple seconds to start an app but what's a couple seconds on such a Fantastic TV the magic remote is Cool once you get used to it and the voice command works perfectly Brilliant TV so glad I got it

Excellent TV for the Money
This is a good TV for the price. The picture quality is superb when watching in 4K UHD/HDR. The sound quality is good enough, although I have bought an AV receiver from a friend along with a couple of his old speakers and it really does make the difference. Nicely designed, feels expensive, the LG Web OS / UI is very intuitive especially with the magic remote & this is where it has its value as some other manufacturers make great TVs & then put no effort into the UI. Recommended

The telly looks good.
It is ultra slim, looks great, and is unobtrusive. The quality of the screen's content, is very good indeed. The sound is superb. I did have a bit of trouble setting it up. One had to read the instruction booklet well, and indeed retrieve information from Google. My wife and I are very pleased with it. In our opinion it certainly is a jolly good television set, and I will highly recommend it. Oh, just one teeny annoyance, is that it does not have a scart socket. But that's not a problem.

Great TV . Odd Remote
The remote supplied with it has many clever features such as the Auto Start facility. It takes nineteen clicks and four different buttons to turn it off. Half asleep in the dark you’ll be wide awake and with the light on to get that done. There’s no simple Program Information button just a combination of four fiddly clicks !. TV Guide has to load slowly each time, and again + again as you click through it. I could go on. I watch tv via my HD Recorder: far handier remote.

Good picture, good sound, great price
All round this is a great telly; -Design is sleek & stylish - Picture quality is good; can be manually customised, or there’s a range of presets (cinema, HDR, Game mode etc). -Sound quality is more than sufficient, the Clear Voice preset means dialogue in Tv shows is clear & crisp - Connectivity options are great - Fantastic for Gaming - User interface is easy to use & very responsive. - Smart remote is brilliant, voice control is intuitive Overall would recommend !

Great TV at a great price
Excellent clear picture. Screen size is perfect for our medium room. You can tone down or ramp up the life-like image effect (soap opera effect) and save those settings. For the light shadows on black backgrounds, turn off local dimming to fix it. Just check the item fully before leaving the store. Our first one was broken and box visibly damaged but they insisted it was fine. Ages on the phone a 50 mile round trip to sort. Not even a goodwill gesture from Argos for the hassle.

Great buy!
I initially wanted to buy a different one to this but then saw this one moments later, and that it was better quality and value for money. Purchased it and love it! Picture quality is way out of this world! I'd recommend buying LG home theater becauae you can sync it with the telly and it intelligently turns on when you turn on the telly - way better than the sound. Although sound bar looks more funky. The remote also is an interesting piece! Please BUY IT!

A great value premium television.
The television is slim and stylish with a metal bezel round the screen, the picture quality is great uhd is amazing full HD is also amazing, the sound is very impressive, you can connect Bluetooth headphones and speakers to it very easily, the magic remote is a huge step forward in remote controls and makes the operating of the TV very easy, the remote also feels like a good quality item and feels good in your hand , I would recommend this TV.

Great TV at a really great price
We needed to upgrade our older dated TV for something much more modern and some that included all the apps we wanted/needed like Netflix and Prime TV, which are actually accessible directly from buttons on the remote. The TV was breeze to setup with the installation wizard and all the expected apps are pre-installed on the TV ready to use. If you've been thinking about this TV i'd strongly recommend it, especially when its at this price!

A+ for Picture Quality
Early days but this TV is excellent value just for its picture quality. Easy to set up as we use a Freeplay set top box but you might find it a bit harder to get the audio visual settings to your liking. Not hard but does require being careful. 4K video is excellent but HD looks very good as well showing that up sampling does work. SD good as you can expect. Audio from the TV speakers is very clear. Remote clever when trained.

Great TV
A top rated 49in budget TV in Which magazine. Many features of larger TVs and a superb display and decent sound but like all TVs a soundbar is a huge improvement. It has LG's magic remote with a pointer - so much easier for a smart TV. I bought a separate stand as it comes with small outrigger feet which requires a wide cabinet. An outstanding TV at a great price and the best choice if you don't want to spend a lot more.

Top quality TV for the price
Decided to upgrade from my old 4K TV and have no regrets. This is a great TV. The standard picture settings are fantastic, without the HDR settings. The sound is also really good so I’ve no need for an external speaker. It’s really easy to set up and access to Netflix and Amazon is one click. The TV really excels when watching 4K Blu-ray and 4K Netflix or when playing Xbox One. I would highly recommend this TV.

Great tv for the price
Very good tv, one of the best from LG’s 2018 line up (not including oled) the “super uhd led” have now been re-branded as nano cell tv’s under the 2019 line up which makes this tv is an absolute bargin. Very thin bezel around the screen, lightweight and thin design at the back. Picture quality is very good, colours are vibrant and bright. Overall great buy, highly recommended.

Great Tv
Bought this to replace our old LG tv, have to say it a huge impovement, the picture is great and there are loads of settings to fine tune it to a picture of your liking. Sound is pretty decent too for a slim line tv. The smart tv side of it is great, dont need the firestick anymore as netflix, prime tv etc are all in there . All in all a decent tv.

Fantastic for the price....
Fantastic for the price and also LG have never failed me as yet, I always upgrade with a new TV every year but only to LG, I have tried other brands but LG are the only one that has been consistent throughout.. I especially like the fact I can have it on constant 90 min record so I can go back up to 90 mins if necessary anytime I wish.....

Pleased to recommend
Some time since we changed TV so getting to grips with all the things this one can do will take a little time but very pleased with it. We were worried a 49" would look too big but because the frame is so much thinner than our previous 43" it feels just the same. Great!

Great telly
This is a great Telly whether on Super HD or standard HD. I like the remote and the guide seems fine though mostly i watch it through my sky box. Set up was easy and the picture and sound are top notch. Just what i expected from LG.

Ultra thin design and brilliant smart remote
It's ultra thin and looks amazing in my lounge. The sound is awesome thanks to its Dolby Atmos speakers. The smart remote is usefull with its Google assistant and other features that makes navigating a breeze.

TV looks fab with my Xbox one X
Had the TV over week now it's fab a must buy trust me it's got Dolby vision ok so it works well with the Xbox one X Plus pic and sound quality is ace Well happy even took out extra insurance with Argos

Simply brilliant

Good quality picture and ok sound. The user interface is decent enough. It’s difficult to get the remote to work completely with other devices like a DVR but you can do basic functions.

Looks good on the wall
It's a good TV for the money, good colour picture and sound, but sometimes some lose of clarity in faces for example. Small frame maximises picture. 4 HDMI sockets really good.

Excellent UHD TV
This is our 3rd flat screen tv and by far the best yet. Excellent picture and sound much better than they used to have. Great value as it is as good as an OLED.
