Love the computer, don't like the software
Wonderful improvement over my dell laptop. Performance, weight, etc. Have had extreme difficulty moving my office 13 product to the Lenovo product. MS is very unhelpful

I5 Gen and Plenty of Storage
This is a decent laptop for regular users; especially if you are just surfing the web for shopping and emailing but still need Windows programs. This kit comes with a student version of MS Office 2019, which is convenient. The screen is only a TN. If you plan to watch movies or do any kind of video/photo work look for a better screen. Stopped working after 5 months
I wanted to buy a slim laptop for my sister and I narrowed down on this one. It was great initially. It was fast. The laptop was ultra thin and super portable. But then one day it suddenly stopped working. It wouldn't boot up. Been struggling with the lenovo support to get it fixed.

Crashed x3 within 30 min.
With only ZoneAlarm and Firefox running (4-5 tabs max, 1 video), it booted at 88% RAM utilization (of 12GB!!), and ramped up from there, until it locked up within 30 min. This happened 3 times. I packed it up and sent it back. Maybe mine was defective, but it certainly was useless. (Plus the wallpaper was an ugly old car in front of a dirty wall - what up wit dat?)

Great bargain machine
The computer came on time as expected and proved to be as easy to set up as Lenovo could make. The only complaint I have is directed at Microsoft's changes from version 7 to 10. 10 interface is not as straightforward as it show be which left me searching for things I was use to in Version 7. I know things change but change for change seek seems a waste to me. Overall, I recommend the computer.

Fast and easy
The S340 starts up really fast and the large RAM allows multitasking in several programs at once. The HOS was a real game-changer for me. I saw the same computer today at Staples for the same price but had an i3 processor and a 20% discount coupon for HOS. Thank you B&H for another great deal.

Awesome performance for the price
This is the second time we've bought this particular laptop. It's the only one that we found on the market with a 512G SSD drive at this price point. Yes, having a fast processor is nice, but having a fast system drive is even nicer. There was a bit of a hiccup in enabling the premium care warranty and that took a lot of back and forth between me and B&H, me & Lenovo, and B&H and Lenovo. But that was finally squared away.

Graphic card is not what I expected
When I was purchasing this, I did not pay attention to the graphic card and its too weak to run my architecture program. I would not have purchased if I had this knowledge.

Very Shady Reviews
I read 2 reviews ..one by Burhan (12/26/2019) and Melvin (11/26/2019) which are just the same pasted twice, one month apart. They are BH verified reviewers...looks like the same review gets posted once every month under a different name. This makes me wary to buy anything from this website and doubt all reviews here. I badly need to make a laptop purchase and I thought I had narrowed my choice...no longer sure...:(
