Amazing experience with this headset
This package comes with everything you need to get it up and running and it works great but a few things to note: You need a fairly fast computer to run it and a decent (and recent'ish) graphics card with a spare HDMI socket in addition to your normal monitor connection. The headphones are awkward, difficult to put in when you've got the headset on, and they regularly drop out but are easily replaceable. Got the Viveport 12 mnth sub included and has lots of great software. Very pleased with it.

Excellent right out of the box - it's the best VR
Packed really well, the headset, controllers and sensors all scream good build quality. The instructions were extremely easy to follow, as is the online set up and registration. The system works great with Steam VR (Valve had a lot of input to the project) so game purchase is simple. You do need to have the right system to run it - Vive.com website explains all that best to check before you buy! The only change we made was ordering the headphone upgrade - makes it the best VR kit out there ; )

Just buy don't hesitate
I'm so happy I finally got into VR. I'm having so much fun, the headset is amazing. The tracking is impeccable and the image quality is excellent. Going into the free Google earth app alone is amazing. You really can't explain how it feels but from standing on top of a skyscraper or sitting in the middle of a NYC street. The sense of scale and feeling like your actually there is incredably realistic. Flying around and standing in space front of the planet is such a unique experience in VR!

Wow!!!
What an experience; immersive and such fun! Fairly easy to set up - you need a clear area, about 5 foot square. You also need a fast laptop or PC - i5 or i7 processor is best. The two base stations need to go up high - ours are on cabinet tops but there are fixings for wall mounting. The headset is adjustable for each person and must be properly focused. At the moment there are loads of free or very cheap games. Also google maps & streetview - you can go anywhere and it's amazing!

Works on a budget gaming PC
Less Wires, Easy to setup, works on a budget gaming rig. AMD 3 CPU 4GB RAM and 1050 GPU with little performance loss n graphics on beatsaber and VRC recently upgraded the CPU to a Ryzen 7 and 16gb ram, I have not regretted this purchase. Thinking about getting one? Do your research but I will say VR is growing with a steady amount of ups n downs in its cycle. It has changed my gaming view and way I watch movies specially in 3D with Big Screen. 10/10 A Worth it purchase for life.

Great entry point for PC VR
Pros Good compatibility. Little or no lag when used with a high performance PC. Seamless to transition from desktop to VR all you have to do is put the headset on. Great tracking if the base stations have line of sight and are installed correctly. Cons Very noticeable screen door effect. it's acceptable for most games but if something is in the distance you can't see much detail. Needs 3 power outlets. The included strap does get uncomfortable after 30 mins or so.

really good but difficult to set up
The HTC VIVE is an extremely good. However, to set it up you need to mount 2 base stations that are extremely difficult to fix to the wall if you don't have a drill... We resorted to using 'Gorilla Tape' to fit the mounts to the wall. The experience is amazing and extremely entertaining. You do need to purchase games from Steam... Does come with a subscription which we have not used yet. Brilliant family fun. Every one can watch what is happening on the computer monitor

Good VR headset, but...
The HTC Vive is a good headset but I think that the Occulus Rift is better. My first experience with vr was the Occulus and it was amazing, sharp visuals and the choice of games are great, but the main problem I have with the vive is the image quality. The vive in comparison looks bad, the lens shows through to games when you are playing them and its especially bad when in bright portions of games as you see the lens and its pattern plus images appear blurry.

Virtually faultless!
"low-end" PC (i5-7400@3ghz, 8gb, GTX1050TI) Downloaded the software from HTC's website which walked me through the various setup phases:- Laying out the two included "lighthouses" with their power cables, (ensuring both could reach a power outlet). Securing said lighthouses with supplied wall brackets, and the headset itself could reach a power outlet, (with the two supplied controller chargers). *3xAC outlets, 1x HDMI port required total*

Perfect for gamers!
Honestly changes everything I've got a few friends across the world who play in VR who I play games online with, and in VR that distance means nothing Lots of fun games too! With a Vive you get access to viveport, STEAMVR and a plethora of games Would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to have a fun way to exercise too, after a few hours you end up getting quite tired 10/10 have recommended to friends and family.

Amazing! Must have.
Pros. Amazing peice of tec to have at your disposal. I can not really give an opinion it's a must try experience. Cons. 1,Lots of plugin's and wires, you need some space but not a full room, recommended tho. 2.High end Gpu to run 3. Not comfortable for long period sessions. (This can be fixed by the htc deluxe audio strap)

Best VR headset available
Vive gives a far greater user experience, product reliability and quality over other VR headsets. Everything is super easy to setup with the setup tool so even someone who's not tech savey can do it. I don't have any space to walk around where I have the vice setup, but I can still use it to its full potential.

Amazing! Finally got myself one of these
A lot better than Oculus rift in my opinion as an owner of both Works amazing, sensors are always up to speed and picking up my movements Just be aware the wires do get annoying as you get tangled up but aside from that this is an amazing product I would definitely recommend if you are thinking of getting one

Good experience for all
If you've checked that your computer is compatible (use the steamVR test on Steam), then this will just work. Only issue is that the wall plugs for the base stations are not suitable and I needed to use my own, but other than that was perfect. Headset is also fine to be used my by 6yr old without issue.

Virtual reality is awesome
I like it because: It is reasonably easy to set up. - only a master's in engineering from MIT required. It's comfortable.... Even whilst wearing glasses. It's black.... A very fetching colour to have around your eyes ( just ask any super hero).

High Quality VR Experience
Bought as a gift for my teenage son who will mostly enjoy the gaming experience at an incredibly immersive, interactive level. Fabulous experience for all the family though, exploring the world on Google Earth in true 3D. The graphics are amazing!

Great Kit .. but confusing
Nice bit of equipment but takes some figuring out -- no real documentation -- but it is all on the web (I am a dinosaur and like thigs on paper). Do check your computer is man enough and has the required connections as well as firmware.

Almost perfect
This product is almost perfect purely because of the cables coming out of the top of your head. Which can be annoying as the pull on the back of your head. Other than that it's great. There's plenty of game to download and play.

Without a doubt the best VR experience. If you have a PC that can handle it, this is a stunning system. The build quality is excellent, its easy to set up and the range and quality of games is growing all the time.
