Great Work Station
I am an artist specializing in Zbrush and photoshop and if you are considering this computer its likely because you are tired of waiting for Wacom to get their Mobile Studio Pro 2 out, or you really need that workstation quality build with the capacity to upgrade which you dont get with Wacom or most 2 in 1 products. Keyboard is great, lots of snap very comfortable but no num pad - who cares right? Speakers and headphone port is great, clear an... Show More

Built like a tank but uber versatile
I did my research and this is the only convertible pc around that allows you to upgrade it, making it somewhat more future proof than the competition. the zbook runs through program like butter thanks to the Xeon CPU. the P1000 GPU is not mind blowing, but allows me to edit pics and run total war games... so I am happy. I am a graduate student, so I prefer this form factor that allows me to read papers, highlight, and comment with ease thanks to ... Show More

Such a cool setup for a creator
I bought this laptop to replace my busted desktop. I wanted to be mobile while also having a fast computer that will last me a while. From a drawing perspective, the laptop does do well, but you do get the classic jagged/wavy lines on the slow diagonal draw, there are workarounds for this like Lazy Nezumi or photoshops own line smother. I also had an issue with not being able to use the pen in InDesign (not to draw, just to use it as a mouse) I r... Show More

The Most Versatile Notebook
The HP Z Book X360 G5 is the best notebook that I have ever owned. The ultra high resolution screen is fantastic. It is available with an entry level processor up to the latest generation Intel or Xeon. The graphics engine is very powerful with plenty of ram to support it. This Z Book supports up to 64 gigabytes of ddr 2600 MHz ram for blistering performance. The alloy case is very strong and durable. The rear hinge is designed to allow the displ... Show More

Great workstation
Picked one of these up through HP.com (not B&H). There's a severe lack of reviews out right now for these, but the build quality and performance on this baby is super nice. Was able to pop the back cover off pretty easily to install a Samsung 1TB NVMe drive. I mostly plan to use it for video editing, and it handles 4K footage off my Sony A7SII like a champ in Premiere Pro. Touchscreen swivel capability w/ the pen is nice and feels rugged, althoug... This thing is a beast
Amazing amazing amazing. I was a little skeptical at first but I started using this laptop and have not been able to put it down. The only complaint would be that the pen has to be charged, but you can use it while its charging which is great. The screen is amazing, got the 4k with dream color, again only complaint would be the flair if there is a lamp behind you. But man are the colours amazing. Have not used the speakers that much so can not really speak for those but man this thing is everything I was looking for.

Typical HP
I've had the laptop for 2 weeks now and it is still doing updates almost daily. There were 11 Windows and HP updates yesterday, it miserable. This morning, there are only 5 to deal with. I honestly dread turning it on each day.....

Solid
It's ready to go out the box. Installed Adobe programs and imported 1500 images for a project and it didn't lag at all. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Plus it is slick, very nice look to it.
