Failed after one week, but replaced
The TV failed after one week. Replaced . However the onus was me to transport it back. Collect the replacement and Pay for the guy to set it up again. I really should have had it collected and new one delivered. Not my fault m you know!!! You fail on customer service. it is impossible to speak to a REAL Person on the phone, Are you above speaking to your customers, with us you would not have a JOB

Quality tv
Love watching HD on this TV as the picture quality is amazing however rated it as 4 star for picture quality (5 for everything else) as the only issue l have noticed so far is watching sports such as football. The green of the pitch is intensely exaggerated and as a result the players end up looking a bit blurry. l rarely watch sport so this is not an issue for me. I am delighted with my purchase.

TV looks good in the front room
Easy to put the stand on but feels a bit flimsy for size of the telly, preety straight forward to connect to the internet wirelessly, sound is good and all the apps work, Netflix etc. Picture quality is good, we have had it since early December and recently white marks have appeared on the screen but then disappear if it carries on i will be returning it, but overall a good TV for the price.

Lovely TV
Great TV especially the price. The only bad thing was the depth of where you put the screw in made it very difficult. What should have been a 2 minute job took ages. I didn't have a magnetic screw driver. (that would have been handy) Hope that makes sense. 4 screws for the stand and 2 screws are so small for the depth of where they go into. Apart from that easy set up and great telly.

Good TV for the price but slow and unstable system
For the price this is a good size and quality and picture. However the built in system to navigate Smart TV features (iplayer, netflix, etc.) is extremely slow and unstable, and 30% of the time would not react to what you are trying to do (change channel, switch to netflix, go back, etc.). The batteries that came with the remote had very low charge so had to be replaced within a few days.

Good visual but connectivity issues
I selected this TV model after a lot of research and Hitachi brand name was good to go with this. Lovely slim design, light weight and excellent 4K UHDR visual quality. Sound is at par. The only thing that lacks is intermittent internet connectivity issues. Apparently TV doesn't retain the defined router connection and almost every day I need to set the password which is really annoying.

Fantastic
My TV blew up and went on to the Argos website to find another TV that was in stock and could pick up straight away. This one was and even managed to get it up a flight of stairs on my own (I am an OAP as well). Managed to set it up myself too as so easy. The sound quality is superb and the picture is superb too. Best choice I have made and for the price would highly recommend this.

TV is very good but does have its downsides
Good picture quality and sound. Well designed, lightweight TV. Everything is perfect apart from... connectivity to WiFi is temperamental. Not that it disconnects when using internet, just the little icon appears red and green quite often. Secondly, it can freeze and lag when using apps, especially Netflix. Apart from that the TV is a great buy. Very affordable and reasonably priced!

Great priced TV
Brought this TV during the Argos black Friday event as a birthday present to myself. The stand was easy to attach and holds the TV really well. The remote is easy to use as are the smart functions on the screen. Picture quality is excellent, although the sound is a little quiet. I'd recommend purchasing a sound bar if that's your thing. All in all a very good TV for the price I paid

Superb TV
Superb Tv bought it as my 3d tv went off but now upgraded to 4k absolute step up in picture quality ,easily hooked up to wifi in house and channel installation dont know about sound quality as it is hooked up to the cinema surround sound system in house Gaming quality is far superior than on a normal HD TV I would highly reccomend this tv as an entry level into the world of 4k

Brilliant telly for the money
It’s got brilliant picture and sound quality, easy setup and use and it’s been compatible with all my bits. I haven’t given it 5* because very occasionally when it gets turned on some dark bits on the picture don’t display correctly, so I’ll get blue pixels where black should be but turning it off and on again sorts it out and I won’t see it for several days / week:

TV is great
Brought this TV to replace a older 4k TV and was blown away with the picture so clear and colours are true Netflix runs on ultra hd which for some reason my old TV did not only little down side is the sound it needs a sound bar as lower back ground noises can not be heard but for the price you can buy a sound bar. I purchased a cheap Bush sound bar and since then its been prefect

Excellent tv for the price
The tv was easy to set up, fitted the stand (we wall mounted), connected via WiFi, logged into the apps and away we went. The picture quality is great for the price and the sound isn't bad at all. The OS operates quickly, loading apps doesn't take an age and switching apps is just as quick. The app store has plenty of the mainstream apps available as well as lesser known others.

Not a good product
Ordered this Tele had good reviews but I have found it poor quality. Had the Tele 2 weeks and it's going back. First Tele takes ages to turn on in morning also controls freeze when using them. Also Its connected to the internet but says it isn't and will not let you use Netflix. So if we get a replacement will see what it's like but at the moment I would avoid these Teles.

Smart TV was better than expected
This Hitachi was better than expected for the price. Excellent picture quality and looks good when off too as it’s got a slim frame. Thickness is slim too so ideal for wall mounting. It doesn’t have a separate power pack for the mains so no issue mounting and having a large transformer to hide. Sound is good but may be a little compromised as it is wall mounted.

Great tv for the price.
Very happy with my purchase. Excellent value for the money. Cheaper than a smaller tv that I bought 2 1/2 years ago!!! Even though TV's seems to be going up in price. No complaints so far. Thank you Argos. Had a faulty Toshiba, so I needed a replacement ASAP. Same day delivery from Argos works a treat . Had my TV 3 hrs after ordering. And on a Sunday!!!!!!! Wow.

Excellent replacement.
Purchased this model as a replacement for an older TV set. The price was very good and the quality of the set is superb. Crystal clear, vivid quality picture, easy to install, good sound, plenty of input ports. I was going to say nice looking but the only thing you see is a thin black surround. All the rest is wonderful picture. Would most certainly recommend.

There is nothing to overpay if it's perfect!
I spontaneously bought this TV on black friday. And you know what? I don't regret it at all! The TV fulfills its function. It's intuitive, simple, the speaker is loud and the screen quality - wow! Buttons on a sensitive remote control such as Amazon prime video, YouTube, Netflix, FPay are very helpful. I recommend it to anyone who values comfort and design! <3

Hd tv
To start with I loved it but as time went on it was just boring there nowt on there to shout about I had a Samsung one privious to this and that was way better but it was a 42inch not 50 I just went down a TV but up a screen size but nevertheless I'm only doing this for the £100 in vouchers peace and love to all the Argos people outhere doing the ting :-) ❤

So far so good
So far so good, however the TV WiFi only picks up over a short range, which can be annoying at time. So please make sure you place WiFi box close by. At times the tv does take a while to respond when remote is used and finally there is no NOW TV app in the App Store. But those thing mentioned by does not put me off as the TV is lovely and would recommend.

Just order it, you will love it.
You could quite easily whack another £100 on top of this price and it would still be a bargain. Great design, remote is well laid out and swift set up. I'm not sure how much it can do but my 7 year old assures me it's amazing. We went from a HD ready TV to this 4K and the picture is utterly breathtaking, even the speakers are loud and good quality.

Love it
I read the reviews and was worried that some people through the smart side of the TV was laggy.. My answer is wrong! No this TV is the same as my old Panasonic smart TV. Picture and sound is perfect and for the price I paid I'm more then happy! It looks really good wall mounted as well I use the TV for normal use, gaming, YouTube, and Netflixs

Great TV
Great TV excellent picture quality and sound. The only thing I would regard as a very small negative is the remote. It’s not flat at the back and can be a bit awkward when holding it and some of the buttons are not well marked, but apart from that it’s an excellent TV, much better than our previous HisenseTV which we exchanged for this one.

Great TV But needs a Soundbar.
Really pleased with TV Great price, connectivity and set up a cinch. Tried without soundbar to compare with previous Panasonic curve 43" which had very poor sound. Sound was much better BUT when i added my soundbar the clarity and volume were massively better. Overall very pleased but the same problem as most TVs these day with average sound. .
