The Headset is comfortable and works perfectly
The headset is great for console gaming on xbox and i use it for my pc at the same time as a streamer and is great sound quality aswell

Nice headset at a reasonable price
Great quality sound and very comfy even if its a tad bit heavier than my old a40s. Leads are a great length but as i sit close they get caught up often. I would recommend this product

Great Headset for Gaming
Bought for my boyfriend who games on PC. He said that the sound quality is amazing and he can hear footsteps in Day Z so much better than his old headset. The headset is so comfy on your ears and head and was a great price for the quality!

Great product
9/10 Very pleased with the Astro A40 and mixamp. You are able to plug in to the pc and alter settings and equalizers. As for comfort, I upgraded to these from HyperX CloudX headset which were by no means uncomfortable. But these are a far better fit and quality, definitely much sturdier. Only complaint (not much of one) is that I had to go into the settings and turn off ‘side tone’ I believe it was called.

Best gaming headset by far!
The A40 TR with mixamp is by far the best headset out there for both console and PC taking full advantage of optical audio outputs to provide crisp quality sound, the mixamps dolby 3D sound processing is spot on giving amazing all round sound quality without any noise crackling or displaced sound. The noise cancelling features of the mic are second to none as well, comfort whys this headset doesn't let down either very comfortable great for long sessions.

Sounds great
Sounds great, found Argos to be the cheapest place to get it. Have worn it for many hours only ending to adjust it occasionally so very comfortable, a little harder on the top band than something like the Bose QC’s however I feel like this is a plus.

Great Stereo Headset
Great stereo headset for gaming, I wouldn’t say that the Mixamp is worth buying as when Dolby surround sound is turned on audio has a metallic reverb effect, when the surround sound is turned off the effect goes away.

GOOD BUT SOME ISSUES
bought as a Christmas present. sound quality is good, very conformable, issues is the amp wires are slightly loose after a few days so when moved makes a crackle noise but contacted the company and they are fixing that problem

Sound quality great and work well for shooters
I use this for call of duty and rainbow six siege and in tournament mode they are amazing and you can hear foot steps from miles away.

the A40s are excellent
The sound quality is excellent, they allow you to immerse yourself into the game. The only fault I’ve found is that the mic is not brilliant, you sound muffled to people in chat. The mix chat is loaded with a 3 year old firmware so I recommend updating that straight away, this may solve mic problem. I highly recommend this headset as it is much better quality than my turtle beach. Try it and if you don’t like it return it.

Quick Run-Down
Having had these now for almost two weeks, here is a quick rundown of the Astro A40 TR Headset and mix amp... The matte white finish is stunning and very different from the everyday black headset that are normally on the market. They feel very solid and very well made, unlike competitors who have the thin plastic headbands that eventually snap due to wear and tear. The mix amp is vital for your listening experience, looks great. Only negative is the amount of wires with these. highly recommended

Amazing headphones
By far the best sounding headphones I've ever used for my Xbox. The Dolby 7.1 surround sound is very impressive. The supplied cables are plenty long enough for most people and are rubber coated to prevent getting tangled up. The headphones are very comfortable, even after prolonged use. The ability to download new EQ pre-sets to the mix amp via a P.C. is a good feature. Be aware though, these are open back headphones and other people will be able to hear what you are hearing too.

Easy to set up and excellent sound quality
Great set of earphones, I use them for gaming on the Xbox one x and have really enjoyed them. excellent build quality, premium product Bit on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for

Excellent Product
Excellent product that enhances your game play experience! My only gripe is that I had to put a custom EQ via the mix amp. The sound quality just didn't sound right for Dolby Digital. I found this off the Astro community forums and was a simple download. The mixamp connects simply to your computer with the special Astro software which can be found on their website. This improved the sound quality and would recommend this product. Astro are aware of this glitch and are releasing a patch.

Top quality head set
I use this headset mostly for listening out for footsteps on COD BO3 and I can honestly say its the best headset I've had and I've had a few. There's four presets which I believe can be changed with the software from the astro website but 3 and 4 are good anyway. Before you can use them properly you need to update the firmware in the headset (also on astro website) and update the XB1 controller (just google if you don't know how). The updating isn't hard but an internet connection is required.

Great value Xbox One headset
Great sound, extremely comfortable, easy to setup. The added ability to customise the amp to include your own sound settings and the way you can have the mic on either side of the headset is a must in this day and age too. Great value for money.

excellent surround sound
The A40TR headset and mixamp for Xbox 1 are superb. The ear cups are large and soft so you dont get sore ears after prolonged use. The digital surround sound is amazing and really does help with gaming. The headset plugs into the mixamp and that in turn plugs into the optical port and USB port at the back of the xbox, and thats it... chat is fine everything works nice and simple. no wires plugged into the controller at all. Mixamp plugs into PC to adjust all sound levels.
