Vic Firth DB22 Ear Protectors
Bad adjustment
In terms of protecting Your hearing these ear protectors do their job splendidly. Ear protection is a must have, especially if You're a drummer in a loud rock band and You don't want to suffer from hearing loss after 40. A drummer's must have
Every drummer needs ear protection, for rehearsing I find these great as they isolation is a perfect. It allows you to hear enough without damaging your ears. I find them much more comfortable than in-ears for long sessions. If you have the extra few bob I'd recommend getting the version with the headphones built in as every drummer knows they should be practicing with a click lol!

Good noise-cancelling, but ...
The sound isn't that great. It is ok if you play alone, but with the whole band it sounded too muddy for me. I prefer in-ear solutions like Elacin. But this protector is much cheaper, it is safe and absolutely sufficient.

Solidly built ear protectors
These ear protectors are solidly built, comfortable and effective at reducing noise. They fit securely on my head and don't move with normal movement. As it is a one size design, it could be too tight or too loose for another person. The protectors provide the right amount of protection to allow you to play comfortably for long periods of time. There is a certain amount of high frequency dulling, which definitely makes playing less exciting, ... Show More
