This is a much more comfortable headset for long-term use (for a comparison I was using a PH-88 featherweight before this). However- single sided does not just mean it's only 1-ear, it is specifically made to be worn over the left ear and the angle of the headset and mic reflect this. If your preference is to wear a headset over your right ear it will still fit, but not in the same way, and you have to twist the boom to make sure the mic is actually directed at your mouth.
