Noise reduction effective
Purchased primarily for use on airplane trips. Not a big user of headphones but these are comfortable for extended periods (with optional ear pieces for different fits), and the noise reduction feature is noticeable and effective. Since this is a recent purchase I have no experience with their sturdiness or longevity, but so far so good.

exceeded expections
Got these for noise-cancelling on flights as well as i-pod listening. For ear buds, the noise-cancelling is very good. And the music is exceptional. Especially with easy to access in-line control for volume, rather than having to fish out i-pod from pocket to change.

Stay in place, and ANC function works really well
These stay in place, and I always have trouble with earbuds. The active noise cancel function is fantastic. I can hear a caller clearly while standing in a room full of industrial fans and dehumidifiers.

These are awesome! Made the plane noise disappear.
Wished I had used these to fly to France. The jet engine noise disappeared and the movie track came through very clearly. Not hot like over-ear Headphones.

I compare this with name brand like Bose, Beats... you name it. the noise cancelling its no joke folks, try it.
