Superlux HD-661 Orange
Lasting Quality
These headphones are proving themselves to be very durable after heavy-handed use in sessions. The headband design means that there is no plastic that could crack when stretching. A very neat feature is that these headphones don't require you to adjust the sizing for your head. They have some sort of elastic mechanism that fits your head as you put them on. Not exactly what I expected!
I bought these as a monitor set for recording. Firstly the colour was grey and not the bright orange I had ordered. They look quite ugly in grey. However that is only superficial. They most certainly do not have the look of a high quality set of headphones. Have a very plastic feel. They are kind of heavy and you would not wear for long periods of time. That's kind of where the bad points end. The quality of sound is excellent. Perfect for recording. They isolate the sound enough to prevent over spill into the mic. Overall good headphone for the job and good value for money.

PERFECT!!!!
...seriously... I bought these headphones expecting the worst due to pricing but how wrong I was... monitoring my music is just right.... detachable cable and extra very long cable also included... now - there are obvious price cut on material and noise suppression tech but over all you will not be sorry.... these bad boys are a GO!!

Decent headphones, definetly worth the money
These are good phones, nice output and good sounding. They are a bit of "one size fits one", and are not adjustable in any way (or I'm just not smart enough to figure out how to adjust them). So... For my head it's a bit of a hassle and they mainly stay on from the pressure on the ears, which makes the ears sore after long periods of wearing them. I still would recommend them, but only for big headed people. I'm just not smug enough...

Good monitoring headphones.
First of all, don't expect the same build quality that you might expect from Sennheiser, AKG or Audio Technica, however, the sound quality is exceptional for the cost. It's a fairly neutral, uncoloured sound but with plenty of volume. Comfort levels are good too on account of their light weight, so listening for extended periods of time shouldn't be too fatiguing. Of course the bright orange colour might not be to everyone's liking, but it's unli... Show More
