I use the LS-3 headphones with a Comtek wireless transmitter/receiver system to monitor audio from a handheld camera. I direct a syndicated home improvement TV show so the camera and the talent are rarely stationary. I need something that's compatible with the mono signal out of the Comtek receiver and light weight, since I wear it all day long. These headphones are basic but built pretty tough for handing out to producers, clients etc. Usually hold up well for a couple years. The single sided cable is nice and less prone to snags. Be aware the ear pieces do not fold in.
