Awesome sounding 'phones that require power
I've been listening via headphones since 1969, was a recording engineer in the 90's, love good sound. I've got a Fiio x1 DAP, a Fiio Mont Blanc 12a portable headphone amp and a not so portable, but freakin' awesome Schiit Magni headphone amp. I was listening to the Sony V-6 cans for decades. Nice Headphones
Take this review with some caution and note that I paid only $50 for this pair. With that said I really do like these headphones. I am hearing sounds in my music I didn't even know were there. The sound is pretty colorful while retaining a nice bass. There is one thing about this headphones I don't like - they are not comfortable. Pros and cons with these headphones. First off, great sounding and good build quality for the money. Loud and over ear for background noise reduction. The pros would be : price,build,and weight. Now the cons. Cons are definitely the lower end is not exactly punchy. I used these on my phone, and have mixed with them on my turntables. Sub bass is not very good. Also,the other con here is the lack of a detachable headphone cable/no bag or carrying case for them. Besides the lower end and cable,I'd give them 4 out of 5 stars. Definitely worth the Money and will last!

I use these Headphones with my DJ equipment These are some of the best quality headphones that I have ever had bi-far !! The sound on them are perfect and the look and feel of them are great ! I love how they go over your entire ear- I could wear these for hours and never get tired of them or have them feeling uncomfortable. Best purchase I have made for myself in a long time !

Worst resistance ever
I had 2 of these and I can say properly. This headphones are the worst headphones from AKG. A brand like AKG cant put on the market products like this. Very bad experience with both of mine. I only use them at home. This one in the pics I bought in December 2017. Only 1 year and 1 month.

Uncomfortable after a while, good for monitoring
The sound is pretty neutral, not a lot of bass and slightly tinny depending on what you're listening to. Over time as my ears set inside the cups, the hard speakers inside begin to press on my ears, making it a bit uncomfortable. They look good, but the sound is nothing special

Great headphones - especially for the price!
Very comfortable, with a high quality full-range sound. Build is mostly plastic, so probably not the most durable headphones around. Cord is not detachable, and there is no carrying case/bag, which I don't need anyway. Bur for the price- $50 - nothing else comes close!

Worth twice as much as I paid...
Very interesting set of headphones I have discovered in these AKGs. I'm more impressed every time I listen to them and no I am not a DJ. These stand up pretty well to high end listening. Missing only the most subtle highs. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Loved it, I would buy it again :)
I love electronic music and is very important the sound of the headphones and this truly are perfect for that. The sound is amazing and they are very comfortable around the ear.

Fantastic sound
for the price.... excellent, clear: bass, mids, high, SEALS OUT ALL OUTSIDE SOUND, very comfortable, soft ear cushions, great cord. I love them. and CHEAP!
