Great bit of kit, does a brilliant job of visualising google assistant searches and content. The audio is were this product is a let down. Far more tinny than the normal google home, though better than the google mini. The best feature is the smart home controls where you control everything with touch/voice interface. Conclusion Great smart home control Perfect as picture frame Usefull for cooking. Pants as a speaker

Good But Returned
I liked the home hub, but I bought it as a clock radio, I could not set a radio alarm unless I set it to "American" Sound quality was similar to my Home mini and the mini I can set a radio alarm in English. It needs better sound + functionality for the price I could not even get this Google device to read my all day calendar events. Amazon Echo can no problem... Next Gen should have better speakers and better software. Not acceptable for the price.

Looks nice does everything I expected it to do look at my photos play YouTube ask it things answers on the screen love it Brilliant my wife is not very tech minded even she can use it she talks to the hub more than she talks to me LoL

Fantastic
Really love this. Bought for my husbands Christmas present and we both think it is a brilliant addition to the home. We don't have many smart items in the house but have found it useful for recipes, traffic and weather updates! It has a wonderful speaker as well.

Good Hub
Easy to set up and use. Even on its own it is a very useful tool in terms of setting reminders, playing songs, asking it questions, etc. Once you start connecting smart devices it becomes even more useful. Interfaces with lots of different makes of smart device too. And the kids love it!

Google home hub charcoal
An excellent piece of kit for the smart home. My whole house has joined the Google home set up which is clean and in my opinion more clever than Alexa. Having the screen is a major improvement when using the assistant. It does not matter what colour you buy as you wont really see it, as it only covers the back. The speakers sound clear and better than the mini. I have mine in the kitchen and use it to watch youtube whilst cooking ect, much better than trying to use your phone. BUY IT!

Excellent, brilliant, amazing
Already had the Google Home in the lounge, added the home hub for the kitchen so when cooking or ironing can cast TV programmes, music etc... Really good, works brilliantly with Philips Hue lights, Hive, Tado etc... Highly recommended

Superb product that merges Calendar, Contacts , Music and all sorts of other stuff including Search. Takes a bit of getting used too but well worth it.

TOTALLY USELESS COMLETELY INFURIATING
FIRSTLY THE SHOPING LIST. You cant print out without creating another email address, then you have to go onto the internet which is hit and miss if it works at all. SECONDLY THE INCONSISTENCY OF WEBSITES. Most of the websites you get on your other devices cant be found nor displayed on this home hub. THIRDLY.. seven times out of ten, it will say IM SORRY I CANT HELP YOU WITH THAT RIGHT NOW. Well when will it be able to do simple functions. Just a very expensive kitchen timer.

Love this! Originally bought google home mini, impressed! Then seen this on offer and thought be handier in kitchen to view recipe ideas! Pleased with capabilities and the fact can link them up to play music in other rooms at same time! Result !

Absolutely love this purchase bought for my mam for Xmas loved it so much bought myself one, had loads of entertaining nights over the festive period. Would highly recommend this to any one, Its the best thing I've bought for years.

Very easy to use, looks modern and smart, amazing.
The Google home hub is easy to setup, looks modern and very smart, blends in and looks amazing. Does exactly what it says its does. Connects to Bluetooth speakers very no fuss. Cannot wait to control my house lighting.

Great fancy alarm clock
Pros-well made, screen automatically dims at night and switches to a clock. Setting an alarm is easy, as is selecting a radio station. The Google Search is better than Amazon's offer. The user interface is good Cons-smart device control is nowhere near as good as Alexa's ability. Even with a 3rd party hub the control is shaky at best. It probably works well with Phillips, Nest etc, but not with the cheap stuff from China. The sound is poor. In summary a great fancy alarm clock.

Nice design
We have Alexa all round our house but I felt we needed a screen device in our kitchen to help with recipes etc. It's great for that. We don't use it for much else as the functionality doesn't work so well with Hive. Would be nice if you didn't have to say Hey Google and could.just say Google or change the wake word altogether.

Great device with lots of functionality
It's a great device with huge amounts of support for smart devices. I find it to be more "intelligent" in terms of answers to specific questions than Amazon Echo. The integration with Google services - maps, calendar and so on - is also very impressive. The Google Home app, that you need to use to manage the device including device location, smart services and multiple users, is however not at all intuitive. Multiple user support - responding to different user voices - is great!

I set it up which was easy. I'm afraid it will be like a fondue set to them and shoved in the back of a cupboard somewhere ☹️

Great Little Gadget
Moved my Google Home into the bathroom and replaced it with the Hub for the bedroom. Screen looks great and sound is adequate for the space. If this is for a large room then you may just find the sound may get lost - the Home would be better in that regard. I have mine sighted next to my PC and use it to compliment my gaming/surfing and that sort of thing.

Great as a present
I bought this as a Christmas present for some relatives. They are pretty happy with the device, they are using it for music, online radio, YouTube streaming and casual cooking in their kitchen. Google assistant works well, as in simmilar products. As I've seen it, the build quality is good (like for the original Home smart-speaker). Can't speak yet for the audio quality.

Nothing like the advert
We bought this on the back of seeing the tv advert where they use it for recipe reading. In reality it is nothing like the advert as it doesn’t understand the voice commands that take you through each stage of the recipe. For recipe functionality please avoid.
