Excellent and works well with iPhone
Works well with iPhone and Apple Music once paired. Also is great with Netflix to watch the lazy way! Would recommend for a bedroom might need the bigger one for a bigger room

Useful item
The item was well packed and well made.It was easy to set up to a wireless connection and was up and working in a couple of minutes with no hassle .It can be used in many ways as a reminder for appointments or to inform about weather and news It will stream music , radio and also visual media via Chrome-cast .and can be set to respond by name to different family members.It will answer questions and is ideal for those homework questions that mum and dad can't answer. Great gadget
Even if you’re just looking for a device for streaming internet radio, this is a good purchase. I also use it to add things to my shopping list, set alarms, adjust my central heating, set timers, manage my calendar, fact find and as a Bluetooth speaker!

Really good for the price
Great good home mini just like the big on but price cut almost half. Google has great feedback when speaking and is able to control smart lights and accessories with just your voice L! GREAT PRODUCT

Excellent at this price point
Really happy with this Google home mini, I am very Google calendar focused so have it read my calendar and news in the mornings and play radio 2 or my music mainly. it wouldn't blast your eardrums but for those of us who just want music at a reasonable level it's more than sufficient. I do ask it the odd question and don't have any linked devices but even for what I use its excellent value and actually useful tech. I may yet get the larger model for my living room.

My dads little gadget helper
Brought the google home mini for my dad for Christmas and he just LOVES it!!! It’s a fantastic little gadget and Argos had it bang on price which was an added bonus! I would highly recommend this product!

Basic at moment but better than Alexa
None of these devices do that much at the moment, play music, log things, set reminders and alarms, that's about it. But having seen how precise you have to be with Alexa, the Google Assistant manages to work out most things. If you have a Google email and or Music it's worth getting. And over time it will do more. If you have a Prime subscription then go for that, but expect to be shouting at it very quickly. Home and Home Mini any day thank you.

More useful than I first thought
This is not going to change my life but I believe it will have its uses alongside other technology. I suspect it may be of greater benefit to those who have difficulty moving around the house or have limitations in the use of their hands since commands are given by voice. It has been easy to set it to control lighting using Hive lamps, control mains powered devices using TP-Link active plugs, play music / the radio, check local weather / traffic, and set countdown timers & wake up alarms.

This will change your life
Since purchasing the wonderful google mini home my life has been an endless round of pleasure- parties, wine,good food, lovely people... ok so it’s Christmas and there might be coincidence involved but there’s no denying that the google mini came along at the same time as the good times! It’s gone home with my sister now but there is still a joyous after glow at our house

Good Buy
Compared this with the Alexa and thought I would get more use out of it, and I was right. Has a few quirks, like it doesn't always recognise my voice for my calendar, but for the majority of the time it is good.

The google home mini is great!
Really good speaker, it's responsive. Look forward.to seung all that it can do in the future. Chrome cast enabled tech is needed for full functionality.

Excellent piece of kit
It's not always a given when you buy a piece of tech that it will do what the marketing people promise. However, this doesn't just work, it has exceeded all expectations. It's speech recognition is great and is able to answer anything reasonable. The sound quality when listening to music is very clear but lacks a little bass due to its size. It's perfectly adequate for casual listening and is louder than I thought it would be too.

Don't bother with an Echo
So much better than the Amazon Echo. No stupid skills to remember. Just ask direct questions. It actually works with our Philips Hue lighting system and guess what the Echo doesn't! Say no more

This is fun and will be getting one for myself.
Bought two one for son and daughter and they have set it up in no time. Seems to be working really well. Will be getting one for myself when the price comes down again together with a Chromecast.

Great product
I have three of these at home in Canada and wanted to buy for my parents in the U.K. after they enjoyed using ours. Easy to use and stylish looks. They serve a functional purpose while being fun. I chose Argos online because of the easy ordering and superb delivery options.

Great little gadget -Google Home Mini
Decided on this as the reviews praised it's backing from the Google database, which is amazing. The Echo Dot is not as good imho and I've tried both. The Dot gives up or mangles some requests where the Home Mini just does what you say. I like the way it personalises stuff for my wife and I as appropriate.

Google home mini is fab and very easy to set up
Great to use and very easy to set up once you down load the Google home app you just follow the app guide and away you go. The Google mini is able to answer any questions and can control your lighting with the right accessories and also play your music and set alarms etc

Gift for my father..
The Google home mini far exceeded my expectations. My dad loved how easy it was to use and how much he could ask it. The best part was the ability to ask follow up questions and the responses were far more like holding a conversation compared to similar devices. The sound was good for a small speaker but you'll want the regular sized Google Home if you want better sound.
