Handy device!
Great little device, really handy to have in the bedroom. If considering buying i would pay extra and get the google home. It has much better sound quality. The mini is still great though!

The Google mini is not only fun but very useful.
Do speak to it when you first get up as it makes you smile, gives you the time, weather and the news. Do always say goodnight to it as it gives you a different reply & make you smile going to bed. Don't let your grown up children use it as they ask it stupid things & you end up nearly dying if laughter. Don't let the grandchildren use it as they will end up cheating with their homework. The Google mini has given me so much pleasure, well worth the money.

More fun than helpful.
Hey Google, Two simple words and your playing your favourite songs, watching Netflix, getting the days news, or discovering the capital of Peru. Easy to set up, anyone can use it and it's fun for all the family. You need a Google music account and Netflix to get the most from it though, great for streaming and controlling Netflix, shame it doesn't work with now TV though.

Great idea but you need to have a google account
Needs a google account with music etc to get the most out of this. Still useful but I think I’ll also go for an amazon one too so I can use it with audible etc.

Great fun
Google home mini is very easy to set up and use, well built and simple to operate, it is also a useful addition to our home. So far it has has helped with spellings, timers/ reminders and playing games. Great !

Not quite smart enough - yet!
Needs a bit more time before it has enough history to be able to answer all your questions. You need chromcast to sync to your TV, even if it is already smart, which is frustrating. Plus being able to change the voice would be nice. Overall it is fun to talk to and sync to devices.

Best gadget ever
This is the best buy ever. Great speaker sound quality. We have had to change who we stream our music with, but this was no problem, got a free trial for 3 months, so made a saving by switching. Google doesn't have all the answers unfortunately and sometimes you have to ask in a different way but you soon get used to what google can and can't help with and how to ask the right questions. We have had hours of fun playing quizzes and I love that I can set reminders and alarms by just asking.

Great Little Smart Speaker
Having tried both Alexa and Google Assistant I have come to conclusion that Google has the edge with Natural language and understanding UK accents. Got multiple ones around the house now and they're great!

Gratefully received
I reserved this on the internet and was able to pick up after 4pm that same day. I was able to pay with Nectar points, which was great. The Home Mini was a present for my tech savvy brother and he was very pleased with it - he knows about these things so it's a high recommendation.

Great Fun and Useful
We have thoroughly enjoyed our Google Home Minis. From asking the time, setting timers, playing music on demand and "broadcasting" from one Mini to another - they've been the best toys purchased for Christmas.

My partner bought me the taller google home one and i absolutely love it wen my sons came to visit they wer well jealous so i bought them the pebble and they say its as good as mine so i have no quarms about recommending any of the google products every home should have one.

I have both amazon alexa dot and recently got Google home mini I find for easy to transfer music the echo dot is far better than Google home mini but that's my honest opinion.

Most used gadget this Christmas
Bought as a present and went for the smaller version in case it wouldn’t be used but wish I’d bought the full size one now as it’s the most used present! Excellent buy!

Hey google
I bought my google how me after I used my mums echo dot. I figured google knows more. I can’t say I’ve been disappointed because it’s so cool. You just say “Hey Google” then whatever it is you want to know and voila! You can play TineIn radio stations or if you have something like Spotify, link it to your Google Home and play you music that way. It’s great for all kinds of things like lists, telling you the time or just a general knowledge question. I recommend this product highly.

My Mum's new best friend!
Bought as a Christmas present for my techno-phobic mum. She was hesitant at first but absolutely loves it now, often talking to it as if it were her friend (she particularly loves the compliments that Google pay her). My personal opinion is that it still lags slightly behind Amazon's Echo tech ("Alexa") in terms of functionality, often not fully understanding the phrasing of a question. However, with Google Cloud learning and anticipated updates I think it will only get better.

Great Product at Great Value
Having already purchased a Google Home I was sceptical at how well the speaker in this mini version would perform. However I was very impressed. It is more that adequate for playing music in a small to med sized room, like say a bedroom and of course it has all the power of the google visitant built in. If you are after filling a large room with loud music then defiantly consider the Google Home. If however you just want to listen to your favourite tracks whilst you cook then this is a winner.

Very neat and handy.
This is a good purchase for a google user. Having google player set up with(I believe) a monthly payment allows you to have music played through it. It keeps track of your google calendar and your google emails will be linked so if there’s meeting (calendar dates) on the emails they maybe identified too.

Looks amazing in any room
Hi I purchased this item due to its size and features, it is so simple to use and only takes a short time to set up it looks amazing and has a good size and weight to it to bought it on sale which was excellent there is so much you can do with this small very powerful item it helps to makes your life alittle easier very glad I purchased it (should of purchased it along time ago ) amazing little item thanks

Very useful
Easy to use and set up. Good price cheapest stockist at the time of purchase (Dec 17). Does exactly the same as the bigger version only difference is the speaker. Speaker is still very good quality though.
