Works a treat
Great product at a great price. If you want a stand alone speaker as well as being a smart speaker, i would opt for the regular one. But the smart features on this one is perfect

My Google mini
I bought this to put in my room as I have the Google home in my bedroom with a screen,the mini is really good but didn't know had to subscribe to Spotify or u tube music as it's not like the one with a screen as it can not play utube vids but it does play what u want but it might be in full album so can't get a song direct but I got around it as use my fone and use the mini as a Bluetooth speaker so well good

Slick easy to set up
Got this for my Dad. 5mins to set it up. Within 30mins he had called me, played music and turned the TV on and off! Great bit of kit.

Friendly little device

Spot on
Spot on I bought this item when it was reduced, I've had no issue with it at all. Easy to connect up, easy to use, it's a good size so can be placed any where. At It's normal price, if I'm absolutely honest I wouldn't have got it but that's probably more because I'm a little tight

Love it!
Ok, so it's probably more of a toy than an indispensable bit of kit, but I love that I can just ask a question or turn on a radio station or the table lamp without having to interrupt what I'm doing. A WiFi plug is necessary to connect some items, and a subscription to a music service if you want to play specific songs, but I'm getting by with just the free YouTube option and radio. Very easy to set up too.

Love these Google Minis
We’ve got these Mini’s in all our bedrooms and the kitchen. In the living room we have the standard Google Home. The only really difference is the sound quality. If it’s going to be for a lot of music, the standard is a MUCH better sound. For everything else they are just the same. Simple to set up and really handy to have throughout the home!

A good buy
I was interested after hearing from other people. I thought I would give it a go and worth investing in the mini version as an experiment, but half expected it to give me grief. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to connect and had it up and running in minutes. The sound is much better than I had expected but clearly not hifi. I am pleased with my purchase and may go for a better version after giving this a decent road test.

Amazing device
What an amazing device and so easy to use. Even updates your mobile sync diary when verbally updating device. Radio and music fab and speakers loud and clear. Makes ordinary radio defunct. All for such a cheap price.

My newest friend in the house...
We now have 3 Google Home Minis in our house and they all work well. Connectivity is secure, meaning that you can have almost human levels of reaction from the speaker, and if connected to Spotify is a brilliant device for impulse listening. By far the best feature is the 'broadcast' feature- no more shouting up the stairs to announce that dinner is ready.

Easy to set up and use
Was using this within 10 minutes out of the box. Good volume and the sound is actually quite good for music even if it lacks a bit of bottom end. Music works best with Spotify but it found Zante Radio which we listen to when on Holiday in Greece. Great fun and quite practical.

Works well for what I needed as a bedside microphone for controlling other speakers etc. Sound quality isn't too bad for the size but but tinny at higher volumes
