Excellent headphone-microphone combination
I use this product exclusively for operation of Dragon Systems software. It works perfectly with high accuracy. Microphone position is excellent. In addition, the ear pieces are effective in blocking outside noise. I have no experience listening to music with it.

My kid keeps stealing them so I steal them back
The title says it all. Bought these a few years ago when they were only $$bucks. Looked here today and see they've increased in price. I'm still going to buy them since I'm probably never going to see the original set ever again. Lousy thieving baby of mine!

Amazing for the price
Microphone sounds great as people pointed out in other reviews. Sound quality and price are unbeatable. I am taking one star away for: 1) high pitch noise appears on recordings in 44khz mode, once I've switched to 48khz - all good. (took me some time to figure this out and may be it's just Camtasia capture-screen soft glitch with this particular headset) 2) Ear-pads are a little too firm and I won't be able to sit with this headset on for the whole day, but will survive for 1h max capture-screen recording/playing.

Solid Product for the Price
Plugged this headset into a recent iMac running OS 10.8 and the Sound Control Panel recognized it immediately. Audio sound is good and ear pads block out most room noise. It does start to feel tight after extended use, but we are usually on for only 45 minutes, so it suits us just fine.

Not for Big Heads
I purchased these headphones specifically to use to participate in online training sessions. While most webinars offer a telephone option for audio and speaking, this isn't always convenient when traveling. USB headphone/microphone is the best solution. While I think that the sound and microphone quality of these CAD headphones is very good, they do not fit my hat size 7 5/8 head. The result is that use is painful as I try to stretch them tight around my noggin. I would give these 5 stars if they fit.

Great audio more than supurb microphone
It is great for listening to video, yet it does not entirely cover my whole ear lobe like I thought it would, and the microphone works so well that those I speak to say they can hear background noise as well. Other headsets have a noise cancelling microphone as well. This is okay, but should have a few different features to it and still macbook pro compatible. Otherwise its a great headset.

Kid Tough?
My son is the expert at destroying headphone microphone combos. He says this is the most durable yet and thiks it will be hard to kill. He also says that it blocks out external noise better than the ones he has used in the past.

Effective, sturdy, loud
Pros: -- USB interface works easily -- Product feels sturdy -- Good pickup from the mike Cons: -- Really loud! I have to turn the volume on my PC to its lowest possible setting. There seems to be no way to calibrate these. -- They're a little tight. If I wear them too long, my ears get sore

Fine on Windows, too loud on Mac
It's a good product from a comfort and quality perspective, but for some reason, it is incredibly loud when plugged into my Mac, even with the volume set all the way down. On Windows, it works fine. On the Mac, the lack of fine grained volume control hurts my ears...

Good product, great price!
I use these headphones to create mixes on my mac with DJ software. I really enjoyed the easy installation and no-nonsense approach these headphones. Overall, it's a great product. I recently ordered a foreign language tutorial. I'm sure these will work fine.

Overall quite good
I mostly use these for playing video games on my PC. So far I have been nothing but pleased with them. The microphone sounds really good and the headphones also have great sound. I think that I would prefer that they were a little bigger though. The actual speakers are about the size of my ear and don't fully cover them and I don't have giant ears or anything.

Much Better Than Multi-plug Headset
This USB headset-mike is excellent for webinars, and recording e-learning. Its gain and S-T-N quality provides cleaner sound and recordings, higher volume when needed and comfort.

Does what it says it will
Got it to use with language studies on the computer. At first the headset felt too tight but I was able to loosen and make it more comfortable to wear by expanding and adjusting.

Great product
I have been using my U2 - USB Stereo Headphones with Condenser Microphone by Omnitronics to make podcasts; the sound quality is great. I am pleased with my purchase. The only thing I could add is that it would be nice to be able to adjust the volume right on the headset.

U2 USB phenomenal quality
I use headset for webinars that I host. I bought this headset because my logitech USB headset that I had been using sounded like I was in a barrel talking. The quality of sound that my webinar participants/students hear from my new headset is like night and day, BETTER!!!

Professional look and quality
An audio engineer recommended this headset when I inquired about what to use for simple podcasting. The look and feel of this headset is most definitely professional. The quality of the recordings is equal to if not better than most podcast I've heard. Great recommendation!

Sound delight!
The sound is fantastic - it turns the usually not so great sound of computer speakers into nearly a live performance. I bought them for doing live classes on line but the music is mighty fine. The sound is super loud so be aware the first time you use them. The directions for Mac users were a bit off. I finally got them working after playing around in System Preferences - Sound - and output versus input as directed. At times you will need to get back into preferences to get sound again, but when you do it's worth the 5 second effort.

SKYPE and NetMeetings are now useful
Purchased this to use during internet VOIP meetings due to inability to travel to Europe due to volcanic ash cloud. Really worked well. Recognized immediately by my Dell notebook and was up and running on SKYPE and MS NetMeeting immediately. Phones are fairly comfortable and I wore them for a full 8 hour meeting (with a few coffee breaks). Would be nice if there was a manual mute on the microphone to answer questions from those who wonder into the office during the meeting.

I would buy this product again
I use the head phones and mik for my 'skype' phone calls and for listening to music at the computer terminal while working. People at the other end of my calls no longer complain about 'echo' during conversations. Overall sound quality is excellent.

Great audio at such a great price!
I use the U2 USB Stereo Headphone with Condenser mic to record voice overs for training presentations and videos. Very light and comfortable to wear and easy to use. The condenser mic is bit sensitive so you must be in a sound dampened environment if you wish to record without background noise. Overall, it is been a good purchase and I will get a lot of use from this Headphone/Mic.

Nice headset at a great price
I got these primarily for voice chatting and they work very well for that. I can't say how the microphone sounds, but the person I chatted with said it sounds clearer than a cell phone. The phones are pretty decent for listening to music. I say pretty decent because I'm a self-confessed audio snob with pretty lofty standards for sound, but these are good enough for me.
