DJI Mavic Pro (Fly More Combo)

...This honestly priced package provides an amazing experience. Delivery was timely. After burning up the web looking for the best all-around quad drone, it was obvious that the Mavic Pro delivers it all; compactness, dependability and see it to believe-it stability. The combo package provides items you are going to need to acquire anyway; extra batteries, rotors, etc. I'm an old retired guy with a very low geek-quotient, and I have had no trouble at all operating this amazing outfit.

Very nice quadcopter!
I was previously using a DJI Phantom 2 that eventually starting having troubles with the compass. The Mavic is so much more advanced and compact which makes it so much easier to travel with. The camera is better than the GoPro 3 I was using before and I love that I can take RAW still shots on the fly. There is a bit more to learn with the Mavic but it's potential is incredible. The various flight modes are great and produce quality results. So far I would say this is a great product.

Mavic Pro is an amazing aircraft
I own several drones. From large 4k Camera drones(Yuneec Q500)to fast racing drones (IRC Vortex). This drone is the perfect combination of those two. It allows for 4K camera footage without having to attach my GoPro. It's fast and nimble for a camera drone and the range is incredible. I used to avoid DJI drones since the phantom is the most god awfully ugly drone ever made, but this Mavic is incredible. I have now officially changed over to the DJI product and I couldn't be happier.

My best UAV yet
I've had many drones over the years, from the 3DRobotics Solo to home-grown drones and now this. The Mavic Pro is the perfect blend of size, performance, and technology. It just works. It is small enough to carry everywhere, but stable enough to capture steady footage even in a strong breeze. The built-in flight modes allow you to use it without worrying too much about the mechanics of flying. I would definitely say that this is a wonderful drone for photography/videography arsenal.

Super easy to fly!
I have very little experience flying a drone but when you have this thing hooked up to your cellphone and are flying using the real time video feed it is just like playing a game. It is very easy to control and the smart features of the drone ensure you don't destroy even if you are an amateur. The video quality is great and with some practice you can get some great professional looking shots. I mainly bought this for the portability and I am very satisfied with the whole product.

Best Drone!
Best drone out there. Lots of technology packed in this drone and well thought out. I am sure 2nd generation will include additional obstacle avoidance sensors. My only complaint is the Mavic Pro needs the ability to track along with follow terrain so you can track a skier or mountain biker autonomously. Future reference I will not pre-order from B&H going forward. The lack of info was painful even though this was partially not their fault, but the canned response was frustrating.

Love my Mavic Pro
First time DJI buyer and I have to say I am pretty impressed with this machine. It handles very well and looks amazing. I am an avid UAV hobbyist. I fly planes, wings, and various multirotors. This is my first photography rig and I love it. I purchased the fly more combo and I am definitely happy with the purchase. It came with three batteries which is necessary for longer sessions. I also really dig the charger that comes in the fly more combo set. Definitely recommend this unit.

Lives up to the hype
The ability to fold down to a small package and the amount of tech packed into this drone are the highlights. While a little delicate, especially the camera and gimbal, it stands up to moderate winds. The gps technology has it auto-landing within 1-2 ft every time and flying accurately out to previously unimaginable distances. Photo/video quality is good (not outstanding) for a camera this small. The menus are a bit scattered. Overall, I have no regrets, even at this pricepoint.

July 2018 - Mavic Pro Way to Go for first drone
For first semi-pro drone, Original Mavic Pro is the way to go. Ordered the quiet blades separately and it made a noticeable difference. The Pro Platinum doesn't offer enough extra to justify the cost. The extra flight time can be made up for with extra batteries. For photography, HIGHLY recommend the Polar Pro Cinema Shutter Series ND filters. I tried using the non-cinema ND filters, but they really looked like cheap sunglasses. The cinema series glass is a must-have accessory.

BEST DRONE BUY EVER
Was recommended to me by another drone user and it's AMAZING. First time I flew with it I brought along some friends who were more experienced with other drones. They bought on within 12 hours. BECAUSE IT'S AMAZING. SO EASY for first time drone flyers if you can afford it because it stabilizes itself... you don't have to control the throttle. Let the machine do the hard work...you focus on getting the shot you want. Not only that it has INCREDIBLE intelligent flying features.

Early reviews are fake
Those early reviews bashing the battery life and other things are completely false DJI hadn't even begun shipping the Fly More Combos when they were written, and B&H hasn't even gotten their stock in still to this day. There are a lot of people annoyed at how DJI is handling the release delays and maybe around 200 people have even gotten theirs so far, but that's not a reason to make up fake reviews on the product itself. Be mad at the company's practices, not their product.

Great Drone!
I've been using this since the beginning of 2017. Great drone, easy to fly, long range, and includes all of the actions of any high quality drone. Fits into a small case so it can go anywhere. I did invest in a P4P as well eight months later to obtain higher quality video. The P4P sensor is 4x bigger and produces higher quality images and video. But I do like this unit, and other than when I need absolute high-end video, I usually grab this unit because of its convenience.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!
This is my second DJI drone. The first was the Phantom 1 which I thought that was great until I got the Mavic Pro. It absolutely blew me away. The technology is superb it has so many features it was a little intimidating until I watched all the tutorials on the DJI site as well as you tube. In no time at all I felt very comfortable flying it. Unlike the phantom series the mavic folded fits anywhere. I do recommend the combo package as is does include a lot of accessories.

Great first drone for video.
This is my first drone that I've flown that includes a camera. It is really easy to learn the basics of controlling the Mavic. The excellent DJI software and hardware work together to keep your drone perfectly hovering in place. The Fly More Combo is definitely worth it, as you will eat up batteries quickly. The video footage is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected from such a small sensor. I think this is a great starting point for entry level drone cinematographers.

Worth the Wait
This was supposed to be my Christmas gift. No stock. The kid in me had to wait impatiently until it arrived in March. Finally have it in my hands and flying indoors and outdoors. Very impressive flight manners and controls. Pictures and videos are up to par. Enjoying every time I have with it and learning more and more features and controls on every flight. So far so good. The sensors have kept me from crashing into things. Highly recommended even for beginners like me.

Amazing MAVIC
I flew a Phantom 3 Pro for one year until it developed a circuit board problem so I decided to purchase another DJI drone. I chose the Mavic after watching numerous YouTube reviews plus I liked the smaller size as compared to the Phantom series. I have to say my choice was definitely a wise one as the Mavic is simply amazing to fly. The Sport mode is fun to fly in along with it's agility and stable hoover even in winds of 20 mph. I highly recommend the Mavic...

Nice and compact Drone
Came fast by the mail. The size is just perfect and can fit in any regular bag. It take only few seconds to be able to open everything. Good product at a good price if you compare to the image quality you have. Be carful to the focus ''issue'' when turn on. Check all the different tutorial on youtube for reference. Life battery is good. The Flymore combo come with 3 Battery total. I just order 2 more from B&H. with 5 batteries you are ok to fly for a long time.

Great Drone for Beginner to Advanced Users
I'm an experienced photographer that is just getting into using a drone. This is the first drone that I have purchased for myself. The Mavic is very easy to fly and control. I am still getting used to all the controls but it seems fairly intuitive. The quality of the images and video is excellent at this price point. The compact design is a huge benefit to me as I can easily manage a backpack with my photography gear along with the drone and it's accessories.

Love it!
I love the Magic Pro. Upgraded from the Vision 2+ that I used for about 2 1/2 years. No issues with that either, just wanted what 2 years of technology advances could give me. I use the Magic to video indoor, outdoor and just love to fly it. Love the simplified phone mount that DJI gave us. Works great. Range is spectacular and video is unmatched. B&H was great too. It was back ordered originally, but they kept me informed and got it to me about a week later.

Awesome Product
Having had their previous models of quads and flight controllers I have to say this is the best. Stable flights and hovers. Greatest thing is size and weight. So easy to transport. The included bag is also good. Can take along very easily on trips or walks. I will use along the coastline The controls are easy Iphone works great in it. I also use an IPad Air2 at times. Video is good. Photo's are good. Flight options are good. Am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent product with one flaw
I love my new Mavic Pro! Well made and easy to fly, with more optional features that I am still learning. Just one flaw - the combo arrived with 3 batteries that would not charge with either the ac or 12 volt chargers. Apparently this is a common problem that the batteries discharge during storage to the point that they are unuseable. DJI is supposed to be sending me 3 replacements under warranty. In the meantime I bought a new battery and it works great.

Portability and Image Quality in One!!!
I previously owned the Phantom 3 Pro and I'm glad I upgraded to this. It is way more responsive. The obstacle avoidance is clutch. The image quality is on par just slightly different with the tighter viewing angle, which I like. The portability is the biggest factor. I was able to carry this on my body on a video vest and take it everywhere on a shoot. With my Phantom I had to have another backpack. This drone changes the way I approach a shoot. Love it!

Mavic Pro Platinum Compact...for a reason.
I've been flying Phantoms for years now and love them. But I needed something smaller and compact for traveling. I love my new set up but learned quickly it does not have the same power (or camera which I new beforehand) as my stouter Phantoms. I flew it about 1500' away from me and the wind picked up. It sure fought against that wind to get back to me. I'm not faulting the device, but it's a good thing to be aware of if used to flying the bigger birds.

Simply the best
Sure you've got the inspire 2 and others for more in depth videography. Now that that's out of the way. This drone is epic, it's so small, my friend has the P4 and wow what a size difference. Run time is great, it's a champ in 20mph winds, it may be flying at an angle to keep a heading but the video is smooth. Awesome range, I've only taken it to 3,000ft but had no hesitation about it. Buy Buy Buy. But be responsible and don't ruin it for everyone else.
