Built like a tank, very reliable

Mar 7, 2017

I use one of these with my Alesis SR-16, and have had the same one for 8 years. I have seen nothing else that works the way this does, and the construction is amazing. I just bought another one just in case the 8 year old one ever stops working, but I have no reason to really think it ever will! This is built like a tank and is reliable night after night. Why mess with two pedals when this is available?

Necessary Gear

Nov 19, 2014

Got have it for The Roland AC33 Amp in order to be able to Utilize the Overdub Looper on the Amp. This is the 2nd FS-6 Ive purchased. And 2nd Roland AC33 Amp too. One set as a Gift to my Son, & The other set as a Gift, to myself. Theyre Great & The Way too go, Besides Roland & Boss go hand in hand. Plus B&H Photo isnt just for photography, They got most all Gear for Music and anything else Electronic. Their Service Is Most Excellent too. Thanks & God Bless You

I use this pedal in worship services to change pages on a confidence monitor. The pedal is silent which helps in services and has a small sleek look.

Excellent switch, but had to modify

Dec 10, 2012

I bought two of these to use in conjunction with the MFC-101 for the looper control on my AxeFxII. They work well for that (or any other switched function you might need). But, they're not perfect if you're installing them on a pedalboard. There's no aux power in if you wanted to run them off your 'board's 9v supply, and no switch to turn them off. You have to unplug them, or say goodbye to your 9v batteries as the pedals stay powered up. So, I a... Show More

Excellent versatile footswitch

I'm using it as page turner for my iPad, especially with ForScore, the music-reading app. It works excellently for that, and it's rugged enough to stand up to constant use.

Works Great for the money

I use this with my Epiphone firefly 30 amp. I would buy it again. You do need to pull the cord out of the pedal when you are finished with it. Thats what turn it off. Uses a 9 volt battery would be better with 110 adapter. All in All its a great pedal for the money.

Not so great after all

Jan 6, 2011

I bought before I researched. This footswitch is great for start-stop on drum machines and each switch can be either latched or unlatched. Unless I didn't read correctly the switches won't operate without a 9-volt battery and the only way to power off the switch circuitry is to un-plug the 1/4 plugs which is a pain for a permanent setup.

Great value

This is a very useful footswitch. I use it with either Boss ME-70 or Boss RC-2. $ with B&H can't be beat.

I own it

The FS-6 pedal is a quality product from Boss. I purchased this pedal for use with the Roland VG99 guitar system, the GR 20 guitar synthesizer, and the Boss Eband JS8. Works as it should on these items. I rated the pedal as 4 stars simply due to the fact that I cannot attest to its useability on products outside Roland manufacture. Although,I feel the FS6 would probably work in any application requiring a foot switch. The plus side of the FS6 is th... Show More

Another great Boss product!

Oct 6, 2010

I bought this to turn on/off the preamp modeling and reverb on my Boss ME-70. Typical Boss quality. Built like a tank and works great. The only thing I'd like to see is a power supply input so I wouldn't have to depend on a battery. (But I quickly remedied that with a 1 SPOT battery clip converter.)

It does all the things it said it did. It is built well, and seems like it could be dropped onto the floor without any serious harm.

I'm extremely excited that there is no noise at all when switching between modes. Small convenient size. Nice look. I would recommend it to my friends.

Pedal To The Medal

Jul 6, 2010

This product works great. I brought it for the BOSS-DR-880 Drum Machine and I had two functions instead of one. It takes a 9 Volt Battery and it works great. No On/Off switch the power is disabled when you disconnect it from the TRS cable.

The Footswitch Standard

Jun 6, 2010

It works great. The versatility of switching between latched and momentary makes this the universal footswitch standard. I use it for switching amp channels. Works great in a Roland cube or Alesis drum machine. Just don't forget the cables since it doesn't have any with it.
