THRU NO FAULT OF ITS OWN
I acquired the pad to see if it would provide traction for an Apple Magic Trackpad, which I have placed on a swivel podium in order to gain more real estate on my desk. The podium is fitted out with some kind of cloth surface -- great for a drag mouse, lousy for the Magic Trackpad. Too soft. It works better when I place a thin brittle sheet between the Belkin pad and the Magic Trackpad. The Belkin is fine for a conventional mouse, but NOT as a base for the Magic Trackpad.

You always need a mousepad
Maybe you could say that this is just a mouse pad... Of course it is, but you have to look beyond that, you need a mousepad for your mouse, so why not buy one that's cheap but robust? Like this one? The mousepad will become like a sibling, you'll probably grow jealous of it when you realize it has a passionate relationship with your mouse than you do, since it is always in contact with her... So, great mousepad, but don't let it take you.

Almost as thick as a 1/4 mouse pad, excellent!
It 's cheap and it is great quality... not one of those pape thin mouse pads. The smell is ngligable in our office environment but as other reviewes have mentioned across the net there is a rubbery smell to them that goes away after a while. The pad is nicely sized it's not too samll and not too big and the material holds firmly on the desk so the pad does move around with your hand.

Does the job, great price.
Want just a basic mouse pad at a price that's a rounding error? This is it. It's very high quality. Even with a laser mouse, I find it to be a big improvement in mousing. Obviously it fits with any desk decor, and the thickness and materials are pretty much perfect the bottom doesn't slip, the top feels right, and it's plenty cushy.

Fabric on Foam
Worthless.. It doesn't sit flat on a table and after time I don't believe it ever will. It doesn't have a rubber base like most other cheap mouse pads have. Instead it has some very cheap and foamy materiel. This is the furthest thing from high quality as advertised.

Grey, really?
I find this mouse pad to be far to small for gaming, but for everyday use is excellent. If your looking for a gaming mouse pad, steer far away from this tiny pad, if not, then use it for it's soft surface and comfortable cushion.

Does the job
There's not much you can write about a mouse pad, but this one fits the bill. It's not very thick, but it is up to the job of supporting your computer mouse and protecting your desk surface. I like the red color, too.

Did Not Last Even A Week
Got this item and in less than a week the blue layer started to peel off. It is also not flexible, like rubber pads, but rather old school hard foam pad. Not expensive, but not good as well.

It's cheap and it works ok
Not the best mouse pad I've used. The surface is kinda rough and the pad is very light so it doesn't stick to the desk as I would have hoped. Still, it's not a bad deal for the price.

Great accessory for new mouse
When I ordered the new Logitech M310 mouse from B&H, I also ordered Belkin Standard mousepad and it works beautifully with the new mouse. My husband is very pleased with both.

It's Fine
I wanted an inexpensive pad to put on an uneven surface for my mouse. It's large enough, it stays flat, the mouse works on it, it's inexpensive, it's gray... it's fine.

would not buy again
I expected the foam base to be heavier... it moves around on my desk when using it. Does not stick or grab the desk surface which again makes it slide.

Just what I needed for my wireless mouse
My wireless mouse damaged my desk after repeated use without a mouse pad. Finally, it barely worked at all. The mousepad restored its functionality.

Jury is still out
Like the size and the surface but am concerned because the top layer of the pad is coming off where my hand rubs while using the mouse.
