Bought this DVD player to replace an LG player where the eject button stopped working. I had to go to My Computer, and manually eject the drive to open it. What a pain. This ASUS unit just plugged right in, automatically installed drivers, and works just fine! Good player. No problems!

So far, looks good.
Installation was straightforward. All cables matched the old existing so was a simple connect. I haven't tried all the bells and whistles yet, but seems to be working just as advertised!! Shipping was fast and efficient. Communication was great via the Internet. G P

Excellent Drive Affordably Priced
I had an older HP PC whose DVD drive played fine but wouldn't burn or even recognize blank media. I replaced it with the DRW-24F1ST and it performs wonderfully. The software that comes with it is a good and basic burning program. And the great thing is that it is M-Disc compatible (if you don't know what they are you should find out).

Love my new DVD burner
The product was better than I expected. I use the burner to record my Dj mixes with video. it's fast and accurate, no wasted cd's/dvd's. The only complaint I have is the bundled recording software supplied with it as it was not a full program, you had to purchase the full version. That was of no matter to me as I use Roxio anyway. Great deal for the price.
