Excellent Trackpad!
I now have a Chromebox for my desktop computer and use this standalone Apple Track pad with it. All of the Google gestures are supported, the Track pad is very comfortable to use, takes much less valuable desk space than a mouse pad, is a snap to pair with the Chromebox and looks good too.

Super Cool & Intuitive
For over 10 years I've been using an Apple laptop and the track pad on laptops are great. At home I connect my 13in. rMBP to an LG 27in. monitor and using the trackpad is a great plus. I can use the same gestures I'm use to on my laptop. Easy to setup, long batterly life, easy to use.

Great Tool
I had a magic mouse, which was great. But my right index finger was getting sore. I wanted to find a solution with the least amount of movement. The Magic Trackpad 2 did the trick. As a bonus, it also facilities a few moves in FCPX such as shrinking the time line. Great tool

Good for most use, but........
Using the trackpad regularly, but it could use some better, detailed instructions on how to perform simple mouse maneuvers such as moving desktop icons, folders, etc., getting right click to display, .......... It appears to be hit or miss for these functions. Help?

Solid upgrade and great value
For me, it's the tactile feel of the trackpad and the fact that it's a larger and more stable surface. Solid and responsive although it takes a little getting used to with force touch. Love that it can be used wired through USB port or wirelessly with Bluetooth.

Drag & Drop functionality
The Magic TrackPad 2 works as advertised, except for occasional Drag& Drop problems. This may be an El Capitan software issue with my iMac, as the divide works perfectly with my 13MacBook Pro (Retina). I'm hoping that a future OS release will fix this problem.

Magic Trackpad 2
It works but I think an indicator of battery condition would be nice. When I received it the battery was dead, which I inferred because it didn't work! When you plug in the charging wire, there is no LED indicator as there is with a MacBook for example.

Perfect match for my desk
I love editing with this trackpad. I often work remote on a MacBook Pro, so this allows me to transition back to my desktop with no lapses in getting used to the setup again! Plus, it perfectly matches my monitor stand and Logitech keyboard.

Fantastic product!
Love this trackpad! Operates like a huge mouse pad on a laptop and has some very nice scrolling features; makes switching from pages and screens very easy and follows finger movements very accurately and smoothly. No regrets here thus far!

Love this trackpad... archived my mouse !!!
This trackpad 2 is sooo good ! I no longer need to maneuver the mouse and be frustrated that it did not respond. With this trackpad, I can easily move my fingers, not my whole hand, and be a lot more productive than using my mouse.

A Great Improvement on Magic Trackpad
Pros: 30% larger trackpad surface than original, lighter, rechargeable battery, instant pair with computer (when initially plugged into charge). New lighter size also makes it easier to stow in computer bag. Highly recommended.

Best touchpad ever
After a long time I decided to buy one trackpad to use with my macbook pro and a large screen. It works smoothly, very precise and easy do adjust. The best, you do not have to think more about batteries! Great deal.

Light Touch
As someone who uses a trackpad a whole lot, I like the reduced pressure needed to activate a click and way it responds to a light touch. It isn't a big thing until you do it a few hundred (thousand) times a day.

I bought this to use with my MPB for...
better ergonomics and I'm happy with it. I could put it wherever I want for comfort and it works. I can even hold it in one hand and use the other to operate. I definitely prefer this over a mouse.

Better than previous model
Connected perfectly and easy to setup and use. Force Touch works great. New model's trackpad surface is significantly larger than the first generation which helps control the cursor much better.

Great product as always from Apple
I picked up my trackpad at the NYC store, it was in perfect conditions. I arrived home, open it, and start using it without any problem. Very simple design, space grey color looks great!

Finally a great trackpad!
I used the previous trackpad from apple, but ended up going back to my rollerball. This version, with Force Touch, is the best pointing device out there! My rollerball is in my drawer.

high end technology
I had a lot of fears, but luckily I am very glad. Compare to mouse it is a really something new and advanced. I still have some problems, but I am an optimist. No come back to mouse.

Great - but make sure you have a current OS
The track pad is great - and I like the lighting charging capability - please note - you need a new OS to make it work - at least Yosemite - it will not be discoverable otherwise

If you wanna extend you macbook pro, this is a must buy
exact the same as the trackpad on the macbook pro, but bigger. Also enable the force touch even if your macbook pro is not the newest version as long as your OS is up to date

Happy Choice
It works very well. I use it as both a replacement for a mouse and also with a stylus for drawing. It only took about 5 minutes to get used to it, but now I find it perfect.

Pure joy to use

Work Good
I have a 2013 Mac Pro in my living room. There is a white Smal Kybrd and a white track pad there. in my bead room are the space gray ones and they all work good.

My First Trackpad
Okay, it is better than a mouse sometimes, but not all the time. I am using it more in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, but it does not replace my pen and tablet.
