The Magic Mouse 2 is rechargeable and good for the environment; however putting the charging port on the bottom of the mouse is a bad design. To charge the mouse you need to pit it on its back or side. You cannot use it while charging.

You must have el Capitan OX installed to use this mouse. Beyond that, it works great. Comes with a charge so you can use it immediately. I've had it for two weeks and only charged it once. It still had 40% when I decided to charge it the first time. It took maybe an hour to charge to 100%. I'm extremely happy about not having to change batteries at the most inopportune times. No more rotating rechargeables.
