Apple Magic Mouse 2 (Silver)
UPC's:
Looks nice but isn't backwards compatible
I bought this as the trackpad on my macbook pro is failing, only to find that a product as relatively simple as a bluetooth mouse needs the entire computer to have the latest OS. I know it says the requirements in the product description but I really didn't think that it would require such a major upgrade to make this very expensive mouse work.

Mouse is...
Its as close to a FAIL as anything I have ever owed with the Apple name on it. The old wireless mouse was much better. I own 2 of these and they are both within 18 of the computer and constantly lose connection. We have done everything Apple says to do to get the problem fixed and still it does it... 2-3 times a day it loses connection.

IT WORKS FINE BUT I HAVE NOT COMPARED IT TO OTHER MICE.
IT WORKS GREAT ON MY APPLE LAPTOP. BOTH ARE NEW. I HAVE TO REMEMBER TO TURN THE MOUSE ON BEFORE I BOOT THE LAPTOP OR IT WILL NOT WORK AND I HAVE TO SHUT DOWN THE LAPTOP - TURN ON THE MOUSE - AND REBOOT THE COMPUTER. AND I HAVE TO REMEMBER TO TURN THE MOUSE OFF WHEN I FINISH USING IT OR THE BAT WILL BE DEAD NEXT TIME I NEED IT.

Awesome mouse!
Really what can I say-its a mouse! Its unlike any other mouse Ive ever used. Very simple and streamlined but so functional! To scroll pages just by sliding your finger down the mouse was a weird but cool experience. Personally I think its worth the money if youre going to be sitting a desk for long periods doing work.

The more I use it, the more I like it.
The more I use it with our 2016 MBP, the more I like it. Excellent tracking and decent ergonomics. Gestures work very well. Nicely customizable. Would be terrific if you didn't have to turn the mouse upside-down to charge it. Did not think that I would like this quite as much as I did my old Logitech M705d, but I do!

A great mouse!
I've been using the wireless battery mouse for quite some time; the problem is it loses its connection and is constantly asking for new batteries. The new wireless mouse rechargeable is fantastic. I've been using it now for a month and it never needs to be recharged and it never loses its connection. Good job Apple!

No batterires. Cannot be used while charging
I was surprise when it has no alkaline batteries space. However it is goo so far. No batteries, Quick charging time and last long. One very BAD thing is that you cannot use it while charging. So you have to keep that in mind when you have only one device and a lot of work... I rather have batteries in that scenario

returning it after 12 minutes of cumbersome use
I got this mouse, when I moved from a desktop to a notebook, thinking I could get more done, faster, than using the trackpad alone. wrong. this mouse is slow and the spatial awareness (?) is off. You have to keep repositioning it to move the mouse from one side of the screen to the other. definitely returning.

Apple Magic Mouse 2
I'm switching from a PC so I'm still getting used to the new mouse set-up. I like that the Magic Mouse connects with Blu-Tooth so the USB ports are not tied up. I'm not sure I like the low profile. Maybe it'll just take some getting used to but so far, it seems a little small in my medium sized hands.

Not Bad
Lots of great features. Easy as it can be to set up. Compact. My only complaint is that it can be quite difficult to make minor adjustments to sliders in programs like Lightroom. Anyone else found this to be true? I am simply unable to make a small adjustment to, say, the Exposure slider. Frustrating.

Looks Great with Space Gray MacBook - awkward charging
THis looks awsome with a Space Gray macBook in a dark gray shell. And it is a joy to use. But the charging port is on the bottom - so if its dead you need to wait before you can use it. More problematic is that you need a USB-C to Lightning Cable to charge it. Bottom line you might wait for a Mouse 3

Not Ergonomic
If you are looking for a mouse that is sleek, Bluetooth 5.0 compatible, and fits nicely into a laptop sleeve equipped with a side pocket then this mouse will work great. However, if you have a big hand and plan to use this mouse for hours of photo and video editing then your hand will begin to hurt.

Excellent mouse
This thing is awesome. The battery life is crazy good. I read bad reviews about charging port being on the bottom of mouse, this is a non-issue due to the battery life. My battery has been on the first charge for about a week of solid use and the battery is just now at 98%. I do not turn it off.

Love it!
Makes doing editing on videos and pictures easier. Only thing better is the trackpad. My only complaint is that the lightening port is on the bottom. So you can't use it if it's dead. Would be nice if it was on the front so you could use it like a wired mouse while it charges. Otherwise, great!

Sleek and cool design
It was love at first sight. I had to have it! It would be nice if you could use the mouse cabled in case you forget to charge it, but a full charge does go a long way and it wouldnt look as sleek with a cable port on one end. I bought two of them just in case I forgot to charge overnight.

Some pros and cons.
It has an ease of use for scrolling but clicking on e mail to open or delete takes several attempts...Maybe I'll get better at it, maybe a new OS will work better. I have the latest, 10.12.1 but for now, I wish my original 2008 mouse still worked. I'd give it a 3.5 if that were possible.

Apple Magic Mouse 2
I bought this thinking it was the version 1. It's exactly the same as version one without batteries. It was easy to connect and works just fine. Only thing is you have to update your Mac to latest version for this to work. If you have the older version your Mac won't recognize this.

Great mouse
The mouse is great. It was a bit confusing getting it to sync with the mac mini - well not confusing really just it didnt sync right away - of course Im daft at times...so who knows? The mouse is great and as advertised. I haven't had any issues with any of my apple peripherals.

great product
I use my old lcd Sony tv as a monitor via a thunderbolt to HDMI and now I'm able to put my mac book pro on a small shelf and use this to do all my computing. Wow, why didn't I do this sooner. I love it. This mouse is so responsive. Thank u B&H for suggesting it in the 1st place.

Best mouse for fast scrolling
I can't imagine using Lightroom without this mouse. It's a great feature to be able to flip through columns of Lightroom files quickly. I also like the rechargeable battery which seems to have fixed the problem from previous magic mice where the AA batteries often lost contact.

Great upgrade
This is a very nice upgrade to the original Magic Mouse since it is now rechargeable with the included lightning cable. The design is so sleek, that I did not realize that where the cable connected to at first but that is what I should have expected from a proven Apple design.

Mouse with rechargeable battery
All is great with the mouse but I worry about the rechargeable battery as we all know they don't last forever and it is easier to change a battery out that go find the special cord to charge this mouse each time it needs charged. As far as how the mouse works, its perfect.

nice mouse
Very nice and clean designed mouse. Can change the settings to make it scroll faster/slower depending on your liking. Also the sensitivity can be adjusted. The battery lasts forever, I've had this for over a month now and still have 80% life from just one charge. A item.

Apple: Magic Mouse two
Purchased a second Magic Mouse 2 because my iMac didn't like an older wired mouse that I would have to use when my Magic Mouse went dead because I forget to charge it. Space Gray: so I would know which is which: Works great I can use them both at the same time if I wish.
