It's a Mac
If Apple would just make the memory and drive upgradable I'd give it six stars. But Apple doesn't seem to care what customers want. That said I bought this to replace an eleven year old 21 in. iMac. A Good Value
You get all the usual wonderful Apple integration among Apple devices, a complete suite of software included in the price and a beautiful machine to ice the cake. Set up is easy and quick. Expensive Upgrade
Fast delivery from B&H. Computer is faster at load up than my older iMac. The new mouse and keyboard are quite different than the older battery powered ones. The rechargeable feature is nice, with the exception if they lose their charge and you need to be up and running, you can't just swap batteries out and be on your way. You have to hook it up to the computer and wait for it to charge. And if both devices are in need of recharging, you will have to wait for each one to charge, before recharging the other. The display is better. Just wish that I would have got the 1TB.

poor customer satusfaction
Beware Computer Purchasers--their return policy is non-existent. mine was brand new computer with only the box opened. and they refused to return the computer. i will shop with bestbuy or amazon! If you open the box, it's yours for good, regardless of whether you ordered the wrong computer or otherwise. Their 30 day worry free return policy does not apply to opened computers, but you won't find that information unless you deep dive into their website.i will never buy from this site again

Good Enough
Purchase and shipment from B&H perfect as usual, but I am underwhelmed by the new iMac. The retina screen is sharp and beautiful, but speed disappoints on even simple tasks. I shouldnt be seeing the beach ball on a new iMac with almost nothing loaded onto it. We feared Apple would go downhill when Steve Jobs died and I think we have to admit that it has. Sad to say, this is not top drawer. Its ok.

Overdue Upgrade
First desktop purchase. My Macbook pro (early 2013) was finally starting to give me problems, since I overloaded it with way too many programs and projects. Having my new iMac has been awesome! Setting it up was seamless and has been performing perfectly ever since. I was nervous about not ordering directly from Apple, but it was packed incredibly well and arrived in perfect condition.

Just what I needed
Love my new iMac. Came well packaged and start up was very easy. Just followed the prompts and I was off and running. I replaced my 8 year old iMac which was pretty slow and some of the applications could no longer be updated. It served me well. My new iMac is like lightning. Also the quality of whatever is on the screen is exceptional.

I love my new iMac
It is working great. It is super fast. My old iMac was slow and could not be upgraded. This new one has 32 gb of RAM and the drive is SSD. What a world of difference between the two. Before I could not run Parallels and Windows 10 and related software I needed to run. Now I am running Parallels with Windows 10 and it is fast and quick.

An incredibly fast machine with a gorgeous display.
I purchased this to replace an older 21.5 iMac. The speed of this machine with the SSD is staggering. After a few years of struggling through Adobe programs stalling and taking a long time to open, trying to deny that I needed to upgrade my machine, I really appreciate both the speed of this new iMac and the clarity of the display.

I love it
A beautifully, solid machine. I had an iMac previous to this that lasted over 7 years (it died because of a brown-out). I purchased this one, upgraded my specs, and am more than satisfied. This time I have a backup in case of electrical failures and am confident I'll get just as much use - or more - from this one.

Replaced 12-year-old Mac
I was glad to see this iMac on sale at B&H as it was the exact configuration I was looking for. Shipping was delayed to accommodate my vacation and the computer arrived on-time and in good condition just as promised. Setting it up was a breeze and I am much happier with a computer that works as I want it to.

Not convertible to VESA mount
What computer could possibly be sold that is not compatible to VESA mounting? Answer is Imac!!! When purchasing Imac, I didn't even consider that I wouldn't be able to convert. My old Imac did. The Imac Pro's do. Nowhere in literature does it warn that it is not convertible to VESA mounting. I'm hot!

Easy Upgrade
27 inch iMac 2011 had graphic card failure. Rather than fix an outdated iMac, bought this. We really don't miss the larger screen. Obvious improvement in speed and visual resolution. B&H made the selection process easy with comparison shopping, doscounted price and Payboo. Thanks B&H

Everything I hoped for.
Lots of snap in the screen resolution. Sound noticeably better than 8-year older iMac. Bought it mainly to use with GarageBand, so got 16GB of RAM and an SSD harddrive. A little early to say how that's going to go, but expecting it to more-than-live-up to my expectations.

Great Except for Photos
It's a great desktop, but the Photos program is organized in a way that makes no sense to us. We organize by subject not date. We greatly prefer the old iPHOTO with its easy to use editing tools and the ability to open a photo to fit the whole screen - really miss that!

Excellent for Photo Editing
I use On1 Photo Raw 2020 for editing and find this iMac far better for editing my photographs than my 2014 MacBook Pro Excellent choice.Works well. Display much easier on my eyes when I read news using Safari

Perfect
This was perfect for what I need. Great for editing video on Final Cut Pro. Great for editing audio in Logic. I use an 8T external drive as well and have absolutely no complaints.

Fast computer
Purchased the 2019 iMac with 1 TB fusion drive and am very happy with it so far. Plenty fast for my needs and more than enough storage. The 4k retina display is nice.

Easy Setup
I wish I had upgraded from the 2010 iMac sooner and would have had I know how easy IOS makes the process now. the Retna display is amazing when using Photoshop.
