Great, but too expensive.
B&H is awesome. This rating is only about the product: I'm only getting about 5 hours of battery on it even under light workload. Annoying to have to buy USB-C to USB-A as well as USB-C to Thunderbolt & Lightning cables. Very glitchy with Apple Cinema Displays (latest gen) over Thunderbolt & dongle. So far So good
I brought this computer as a UI designer. I also have a 2015 Macbookpro in use so I can clearly find the difference between them. Pros: - Thinner than 2015' Macbookpro, looks better. - The keyboard is better than 2017/16 but still can't compare to 15' - Better CPU, GPU...and everything you may not find the difference. Three steps forward, two steps back.
I upgraded from a 2012 MacBook Pro and overall this computer meets my needs. It is fast and reasonably light and does a good job of running lightroom while driving a 4k screen. I like the touchbar more than I thought I would. The reasons I don't give it a higher rating are that I don't think Apple did a great job with the hardware. Great workstation laptop, terrible keyboard
I had a 2014 also from B&H, which has been fantastic except for the lack of memory - I run many virtual machines and Docker for a virtual data center on the laptop and I end up in swap with which is a bit slow with the older SSD model. Best Macbook Pro Yet!
I have used MBP going back more than 20 years. This is the best one yet - even with the Thermal Throttling news that broke before I received mine, I was confident that Apple could fix that issue. Everything about this laptop is great, and it is easily the fastest computer I have ever used (mine was ordered with 32 Ram / 6 - i9 2.9ghz / Radeon Pro 560X).

It was worth waiting for
I have been waiting for this updated MacBook Pro patiently to replace my ageing maxed out 2012 model. I got the 2nd from the top version everything maxed out but the SSD which is 2TB. My primary use is to edit 4K+ videos while traveling and edit pictures. I use both Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premier CC (full suite). The Best Laptop I have ever owned
This beast is awesome. I have been waiting for a 32GB MacBook Pro for years. And now the 3rd gen keyboard should be bulletproof! (my 2016 mbp had keyboard replaced under AppleCare so this was always a worrisome point) Again, like the 17" mbp, the first mbp unibody and the 2016 mbp Touch Bar, this laptop instantly makes everything else feel outdated and old.

delivers what it promises
it delivers exactly what it promises - a very fast, very thin, quiet and light laptop that is built to run perfectly in 10.13, and most likely 10.14. And it looks great in the bargain, which is of course part of the point. Recommend spending the additional amount needed to get 32 GB of memory. LR and especially PS will thank you.

Excellent
Great build quality, big trackpad, keyboard is not bad, very fast operation, quickest multitasking for a laptop I've seen, outstanding speakers (rivals some bluetooth speakers), and more. An excellent package for task-heavy users that need a desktop-quality experience in a portable but super light weight package. I expected a little bit more battery life, but having 32gb RAM is a nice treat.

The patch fixed the throttling issues.
If you read the initial reviews about there i9 being slower than the i7's, Apple has released a patch and fixed the i9 throttling bug and this thing screams. There are many updated videos so do the research on the patch!

15 inch, i7 2.6GB, 16 GB Ram, 560X graphics, 512 GB Storage.
I previously used a 2014 MacBook Pro (i7 2.2 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB Storage) and compared to that, I noticed the following: 1. Keyboard is noiser and though the travel is less it is not bad. 2. The performance for everyday use appear almost similar but I movie use feels faster. 3. Miss the MagSafe charging option with LED indicators. 4.
