Plenty of fun features and very easy to use. Just plug in and go! Connect your amazon account for a more personalised experience. It offers great sound quality and can perform a multitude of tasks. A worthy investment for sure. Thinking of getting one for each room!

Not the easiest or most flexible
Hard to connect to different phones when friends come and want to share their music. I ordered online for a promotional price but the staff member in store tried to charge me the original price.

Excellent device

Brilliant little thing my third!
I have three of these and all my lights connected has done away with alarm clock and with whisper enabled you can check the time in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner. In the kitchen it’s replaced timer and radio can’t recommend these enough

Alexa is my Witcher
Everything was fine. Amazing customer service. I had a dream to have my Alexa next day, Argos is my Witcher. Good price, less than everywhere for a 3rd generation of my Alexa. They had colour what I wanted and everything was good, FAST and magic!

If you love tech you will LOVE the Echo Dot
I already own two of the Dots version 1 (without the padded sides), so had to go for a third! Every morning I say "Echo start my day" and she gives me a news and weather update,plus tells me whats on my calander for the day. It does loads of cool things by just using your voice. I love it. get one and you will have a useful bit of kit in your home.

Great sound
My new Echo dot is perfect for playing music. The sound is clear and it works great with the Amazon plug as well. The only downside is that it struggles with requests in noisy environments. There are restrictions about what music can be played with your prime account. Apart from that it is worth every penny.

Amazon Echo
Been reluctant to try one of these "Alexa" gadgets, but considered it to be worth a try. Very easy to set up and quick to find radio stations. Word of warning - it DOES try to take over - for example, it connected to our Sonos speaker without asking and then tried to play all spotify requests through the speaker (which we had moved to another room)!!! However, it was relatively easy to correct this on the app.

Wouldn't be without
I bought for my grandfather as he is getting on a bit and god help he has a fall you can call out to Alexa and it will call whoever you need from your phones contact list even if your phone is on the other side of the room or upstairs.... You can send a.message from your phone to broadcast to any or all echo dots in your house if someone has not heard there phone send a message and it will come through the echo dot ..... Wouldn't be without one now and it's great for the elderly

Great device, can't beat Alexa!
The Echo Dot is a small but very useful and amazing device. Out of all smart devices available from different brands I have found Amazon's Alexa to be the most intelligent and responsive to ANY voice that talks to it, once it even responded correctly when I had a vacuum cleaner running and again when chewing on a sandwich! If this doesn't understand your voice then nothing will! Totally awesome product and totally recommended.

Amazon eco dot looks and sounds great
I bought this echo dot for my son for his birthday as we already have an amazon echo. We found connecting it to the WiFi easy. You do have to pay a monthly fee if you would like alexa to play music for you but for 5.99 a month I didn't think it was that bad. You can connect your phone to it to play music from your music library if you don't want a subscription. Great sound my son really enjoys listening to his music on it.

Good but definitely not worth price increase
I got this product hours before the price increase, and they allowed me to keep the reserved price when I went to collect it the next day. I love my dot, but definitely don't think it is worth it at the new price, so keep this in mind. I chose this after my google home had been giving me issues, and find the dot has so much more use and is much more reliable. I would deffo recommend alexa over google home any day.

Small and convenient
Echo dot is small to sit in a corner, fantabulously convenient to set up and use. Be it alarms, music, controlling lights, makes life simple. After all, that is what technology should do. One negative thing is many skills available in the store are not categorised and rated well.

It is great
We love it as a family it's very easy to use and my two young boys can use it as well, we set reminders for my son to take his inhalers and do shopping lists, it was a great buy and I have told my sister to get one.

Disappointing
Bought this for our son’s birthday. And he can not use it. I was completely unaware that we would have to upgrade our subscription to allow use of more than one Echo product. To be honest it seems scandalous

So easy to use, sound is crystal clear.
I had previously bought an echo dot for the living room and was that impressed I just had to get one for the bedroom. So easy to connect and use and the sound is crystal clear. Really happy with my purchase.
