Excellent purchase
We already have an amazon echo, so we decided to get the echo dot for the bedroom, the sound is excellent, you can do so much with it, if you are thinking about getting one, don’t hesitate, it is great

Echo Dot
This is just great sound is better then last generation. It's not in the same league as its big Brother but works as it should. I have 2 echo's and 2 Dots and all work perfectly ;—)

Better than any alarm clock
Bought this, as I already have an echo plus, for the bedroom and already find it invaluable as an alarm clock. For its size the sound is excellent. Highly recommended.

This New gen 3 Dot is amazing
Wow this is nothing like the gen 2 dot The sound quality is very good it's now a stand alone the sound is basey and rich you can adjust The volume will fill a room it matches the sound of my echo gen2 .. as for looks again nothing like the cheap looking old Dots it's really lovely will fit in anywhere really smart matches my echo nice new shape rounded off this is great love them both works in sync as stereo if you have an older dot get this new gen 3 it is worth it

Making life easier
It definitely takes abit of learning to find out what you can do with the dot but it has definitely made life that bit easier. Being able to come home with your hands full of shopping bags and not having to fight with a light switch is great. Obviously there are other useful things. We put this one in my sons room who is two and still likes listening to lullabies. So we can tell Alexa from the living room to play them and set a timer! Gradually changing to a smart home one bit at a time!!

My Echo dot is great in my bedroom
Great price half price service top notch ready to pick up at my local Sainsburys so convenient and no worries of missing delivery. Also free no delivery at Argos Sainsburys. Very pleased mentioned it to my sister in law who has bought 2 as Christmas presents. Fully recommend to everyone great service from beginning to end.
