Best for up close photos
Really happy with this camera! I wanted to capture shots of the moon, and I am able to do just that. No formal training, just playing with the settings. Love the zoom and telephoto settings. The wireless sync to my phone makes sharing photos quick and easy.

amazing lens
I just took some photos and look amazingly sharp using all the 600mm zoom, and the functionality is good, except for some issues like the viewfinder its not accurate enough to know if I focus the objective well, but the focus assist helps with this issue.

Focusing manually so far, is very awkward. the camera has an enhanced image to magnify the image to make it easier to focus but it bounces back and forth between the regular image and the magnified image which is very frustrating and time consuming.

Not for me
The camera seemed to be made well but the ergonomics did not suit me at all. The weight of the lens pulls the camera down as you zoom and the whole thing feels heavy and unbalanced. My pictures were soft no matter what I tried so this one went back.

Exceeded Expectations
So far, the cameras performance has exceeded my expectations. I owned the RX_10B prior, and was anxious to see how the 600 mm zoom compared. Details are sharp, colors are excellent, and image stabilization is quite good.

Great camera!
Exactly what I expected and hoped for. The lens is phenomenally sharp. I wish the low light auto focus was faster and more accurate, but I knew what I was getting myself into and I am thrilled with my purchase.

I would buy this product again.
I used to carry a lot of gear when traveling and seeing new places. With this new camera, I now travel light. No more extra 2 or 3 lenses on the bag. This is such a nice addition to my gear.

Amazingly good camera
An amazing camera. Very glad I bought it. Haven't been using any of my DSLR's and lenses except for the long telephoto stuff for wildlife. But I can't carry them on a bicycle like the RX10.

Recommended without jesitation
A great camera for a reasonable price given all the top notch features and the Zeiss lens. Pictures were much better than I hoped and I love the range of zoom available. A winner!

LCD screen and Viewfinder died, no help from Sony manual nor
Poor manual and Sony support, camera got damp, LCD screen died, the. Viewfinder died on a trip to Europe, do not depend on this camera, never had issues with my numerous Nikons.

Awesome camera
Perfect for daylight photography. Very good for low light also especially if you can manage to shoot at low ISO. Not bad Bokeh at all... Excellent addition to the kit.

Great all-around camera
Great feel in my hands. The 24-600 optical zoom has great resolution throughout the range. I am taking it on a photo safari in Kenya and leaving my Canon home.

Don't Leave Home Without It
I keep it in the car at all times. When I'm not on a pro shoot and that ah man, no camera moment happens, this does the job very well. Not overpriced, IMO.

Cool camera
Have only had the camera for a week but so far so good. Excellent video quality. The video at 1000fps is pretty unusable but the 240fps looks excellent.
