Indie filmmakers best camera. Low price&Pro camera perform
I am filmmaker from developing country. I am using this camera for indie film making. My main purpose to getting this camera is 4k footage with S-log2 and 3 profile. I can have stunning 4k footage and capability of color grading is big benefit for me. From 1k dollars price of camera you can't get any performance like this from other cameras. I am very satisfying and happy for sony brought out to us this powerful little camera.

I love this camera
I love this camera I thought to buy the 6d, but for 4k features, slow cameras, and I do not need to use fider view, I decided for this one. I found another advantage, but I must prove it. The camera is charged with a charger similar to that of cell phones so it would be interesting in an emergency. The problem of the button to record is solvable. I set it up and stood next to the shutter. It warms up a bit like all the dslr.

So far, it meets my expectations!
I am a Canon full-frame shooter but I wanted a light camera to take on vacation to London. While the kit lens was a disappointment, the camera itself has not disappointed. I need more time with the camera to practice and drill down through all the various combinations of focus modes, focus areas, etc. not to mention the video options. It is a complex machine with many interconnected settings. But so far I am very happy!

Horrible battery life
I owned the camera for over a year, build quality good, image quality, very good............. but the battery life is horrible, the camera drains the battery even is in off position, and I dont know why, I've tried several advices and configurations posted in youtube but nothing seems to work, the only way to keep the charge on the battery is taking it off the camera when I'm not going to use it, wich is very ridiculous

Very impressed with the A6300!!!!!!
Just getting into the world of interchangeable lens photography. This camera was recommended by many friends, some of whom are amateurs and some who are pros. They highly recommended the Sony Alpha line. Finished a trip to Utah canyon country and was I ever impressed with the photos! I am excited to take better and better photos as I learn how to utilize the full capabilities of this powerful little camera.

Beautiful camera.
This camera is perfect for me. It's small and light but doesn't feel cheap (better build quality than the a6000, although I have and love that camera as well) it's perfect for a point and shoot style camera with a small lens but can also create some professional video when paired with a nice lens and some stabilization. Great for photo or video! I would buy this camera again in a second. Very happy with it.

Hope I don't have a problem
I have only had this great camera for a couple of weeks. I am still learning the setting but it's going well. My only concern is the temperature icon comes on the screen when I shooting continues high mode. There was nothing out of the ordinary that I was doing that should have presented a problem. The camera did not shut down or turn off. It was very warm. Only time will tell. Other wise I like the camera.

I like it
Chuck got me thinking about mirrorless cameras and I am glad he did. The Sony ?6300is amazing. It is compact yet feels solid in your hand. It will be better for me than a big Canon or Nikon. I am far from mastering it, but I have David Buschs book and am going through it page by page and there is no substitute for just messing around until things make sense. I will let you know how it does in the Galapagos.

Love it!
This little body convinced me to switch from Canon. I love it so much I bought an a7rii...Contrary to most the reviews, the kit lens is pretty good. Just remember, the body is weather sealed but the E lenses are not. So you need to buy FE lenses to complete the weatherproofing. The AF is AMAZING, the Eye-AF works perfect, eyes are always in focus. I also like the magnifier for close in detailed focusing.

Unbelievably good camera!
I bought the a6000 only 3 months ago, but when this one came out I had to have it. I am a (very) novice photographer, but the picture quality from this camera makes me look GOOD! So many setting options will take a while to master, but YouTube is a wonderful place to study! I have never taken better pictures! Love this camera! The a6000 is still a great camera, but the a6300 is definitely a notch higher!

Buy it AGAIN & AGAIN
LOVE THIS BAD BOY! Talking about it doesnt do it justice. If you tested one of these out you would definitely buy one on the spot. Recommend the Sigma 18-35mm Art with it. Great buy would recommend it over and over. I'm currently still testing the waters with mine but I've rented this many times for other productions. This with a Ronin or other gimbal make beautiful magic! Plus it's reasonably priced!

In for repairs..again
Initially I really liked this camera. Nice size, takes great images and videos. I purchased it with the kit lens. The first time out using it I got a spot on the sensor. I didn't even take the lens off. I had to send it in to get cleaned. Fast forward a few month now the camera wont recognize the lens. So its going back for warranty repairs. I like the camera, just not sure how much I can depend on it

Perfect Walk Around Camera with 4k Video
I know not all users will need 4k video, but as a photographer and videographer, this is the prefect blend in a small, yet affordable package. So far, I am loving the results out of this camera. I can really push the ISO and still get great results. Sony is starting to have a solid lineup of lenses, but I can still adapt my old lenses if I want. This is a ver versatile camera without the compromise.

Excellent Camera, Mediocre Kit Lens
The kit lens is decent enough, very pocketable and a great starter lens. The a6300 has great features, nice compact size, amazing sensor and lackluster user interface with a bit of a learning curve but there are lots of guides on the web that'll help the new user. Sony lens options are somewhat limited compared to some older mounts but lens adapters can surmount that obstacle if you are that picky.

A worthy sucessor to the a6000
I enjoyed my A6000 immensely. Unfortunately, my underwater housing leaked and that camera is no longer useable. The A6300 has almost identical controls, so I find it very familiar to operate. The body seems to be constructed of more substantial materials than the a6000. While I have not yet had an opportunity to use this camera as much as I would like, I am very pleased with the results so far.

Great Camera
I just recently purchased this camera. I've never owned a Sony product before and have always shot Canon. The weight of this camera is great. I've only used it a couple of times but so far the picture quality is awesome. I wish the batteries lasted longer and wish it had a touch screen. Coming from the Canon 70D I really really miss my touch screen but overall I've very happy with the purchase.

Better than the a6000
The first thing that impressed me about the a6300 over the a6000 was the quick Auto Focus (AF) acquisition. Even seems quicker to lock focus than the a7RII. I use the SONY/ZEISS 16-35 f/4, and the SONY 90mm macro with the a6300. Landscape with the 16-35, and mostly wild life with the 90mm. The photographs were taken with the a6300 with the 16-35 in AF mode, and the 90mm in manual-focus mode.

Autofocus is magic
I've just got my new camera a few days ago. The video quality is outstanding. The construction quality is great! I expected to see an improvement on the picture quality for stills over my a6000 but I didn't. But I got the camera for video! And for video it delivers as expected. I've tested the camera in low light conditions and the low noise and high detailed sharp images are incredible.

4K Magic!
This is a great camera that will serve as my backup/second camera to my A7Rii. I upgraded from the a6000 just for the 4K So far the still imag quality looks great and the 4K video quality is stunning! I would highly recommend getting a stabilized lens if you plan to do any shooting off of a tripod. It doesn't have any in-body stabilization and it definitely shows in handheld footage.

Pro Video
Got this camera 2 days before my first wedding gig, it performed above my expectations, got gorgeous 1080p120 slo-mo and beautiful 4k shots. The zebras, focus peaking, gamma assist, and log features also helped out alot during both production and post, defiantly the best bang for buck prosumer video camera. And this was after i did months of research and almost buying the gh5/gh5s.

So far, so good
I am new to photography. A friend who has many years of photographic experience recommended several Sony cameras but I decided to go with the Sony a6300, as this was the one he recommended over the others. I'm just starting my education but in setting up the camera I found it even has a vision diopter adjustment so I don't need glasses when shorting this camera. That's very cool,

Amazing Video Quality
I was still a little hesitant when I bought this camera, but I have been extremely impressed so far. The 120 fps is amazing, and it is easy to learn how to use and navigate the menus. I wish it fit a little nicer in my hand (I have small hands, I imagine it would be even harder to use this camera if you have large hands) but that is a trade off I'm willing to make for the size.

Fantastic Camera
I have used the camera for family photo's and it has performed beautifully. I have also used it to take some photo's of my neighbor's dog. The shots were printed out and they came out great. The camera has been used for portrait, landscape, animal photo's. It has performed great for everything I have used it for. The battery seems to last longer than it did in my Sony a6000.
