Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Lens (Graphite)
Great camera for the price
I bought the A6000 for my parents as a gift, but I ended up buying one because I found it is a very good substitution for my DSLR. I like the fast shutter speed and good ISO range. One downside is the complexity of the menu. There are too many options.Overall, I am impressed with the performance from such a light and compact body.

Very Good Camera!
One of the best in this price range. It may be missing some things (touch screen, good battery life, etc.) but with everything considered (including high ISO, extremely fast auto-focus, 24MP, 11 fps), constitutes a great product. If picture quality is important to you in this price range and form factor, it's HIGHLY recommended.

I would buy this again
This product was recommended by a friend. I am just starting out in photography and this is a great camera for learning how to take great pics. It has tha automatic mode if i am trying to figure out how to set my ISO, f-stop, etc, It also can go full manual witch is my ultimite goal. I take pictures mostly of kids and landscape

Fun camera that takes seriously good pix
Lots of good stuff to play with but if your not in the mood switch to an auto mode and be surprised at how smart the camera is. Also, keep in mind that the 24mp chip allows use of digital zoom while maintaining picture quality. You might opt to use only the included 16-55mm lens and keep the camera size (& price) to a minimum.

Great Package deal!
I am a huge DSLR fan and so was a little hesitant to purchase this camera but now I am glad I did. For me size really matters these days and I love how lightweight this camera is. The camera settings menu is set up very well and is intuitive. The sensor on this camera does really well in low light and the colors are amazing.

yes.
Great images for the price, although the sensor is prone to noise even at very low ISO, I have a nikon 7100 same size and same sensor made by Sony and the nikon gives me les noise at the same ISO , Nikon must use different algoritms to prevent that, other than that, size, weight, price and quality of images make it a bargain.

Constantly Surprising
I took this camera on a trip, I am and ex-photographer starting to shoot again. This camera is the perfect for playing, it's an impressive piece of technology and so easy to use. Sometimes it's a little too helpful and you have to go on a hunt in order to fix it, it would help a lot if the manual gave actual descriptions.

Like the a7r but lighter
Like the a7r but lighter and more portable. All the same UI features plus a few. I added a thumb grip lever and an L bracket and find it fits nicely in my small hand. The kit 55-210 lens performs just fine for birding. Catches butterflies and dragonflies quite well too. I'm happy with my little portable powerhouse aps-c.

Great Little Camera
Just bout this camera about three weeks ago. It is exceeding all expectations. It is by no means 'perfect' but it is feature rich and versatile. My primary experience is with DLSRs. This camera handles itself quite well without the weight and bulk of a conventional DLSR. You will find it lighter, faster and easy to use.

I made the right decision...
I'm a serious digital photographer and was getting tired of carrying all my DSLR stuff around. I thought about a smaller camera but hastier until I saw the specifications of the Sony a-6000. Picture quality is super. The viewfinder is bright and clear. There are plenty of advanced features. All this with reduced weight.

This camera is the best for a low budget.
When I first saw this camera, price, and specs I was absolutely blown away with what this camera is capable of shooting. I got the camera about 2 months ago and already got about 4,000 photos. So far this camera has done all good for me, now your turn! Hope you guys love this camera as much as I do and keep on shooting!

Excellent camera!!
I am a hobbyest photographer and have been looking for a compact system camera for a while now. Finally, I decided to pull the trigger and get the A6000. The auto focus is nothing short of amazing, image quality is excellent and it is overall just a wonderful little camera. A perfect blend of convenience and quality.

everything I wanted
hobbyist photographer moving over from Canon dSLR. This little thing can take some serious images. I love the small size, quick shooting, quick AF, and excellent image quality. Using my Canon lenses via an adapter is functional but not ideal (unusable AF). Paired with an e-mount lens, this thing is a dream come true.

Love my new camera! My mother is a B&H photo fan and helped me pick out my camera. I didnt want a big camera and wanted a nice starter camera. Its an awesome size camera, not to big and not too small,. Everyone who has looked at it thought it was such a perfect size! I have so many photos to take! What a fun camera!

Cant live without on a daily basis
Ideally the best in class everyday mirrorless camera as of date, interchangeable lens, WIDI, HIRES Video, Compact & light & works with existing off camera NIKON flash. GREAT APS-C camera with 1.5x crop factor, just like Nikon. The only CON=Battery Life, do not expect to shoot all day with this, avg. exposures = 300+

DID THEY FORGET SOMETHING?
EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD IN THE BOX BUT SONY DOES NOT INCLUDE AN OPERATION MANUAL. YOU HAVE TO GO ON LINE AND TRY TO FIND HOW TO USE DIFFERENT DIALS.WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THE DOLLAR THAT THEY SAVED BY NOT INCLUDING IT IN AN $800 PLUS PURCHASE DOES NOT HURT THEIR REPUTATION.I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO USE IT IN ANOTHER WEEK!

I Love this Camera!
I love this camera! This is my first foray into the world of mirrorless cameras and I have to say again, I Love this Thing! And all the overwhelmingly positive reviews on the internet have just confirmed the wisdom of this purchase. Light and lightning fast. I have a sense that this will be my constant companion.

Just What I Needed But Didn't Even Know
I got this so I could take more pictures outside of work. It's too hard to carry around my dSLR and I was tired of taking poor quality photos with my phone. I ended up taking this to one of my jobs just to test out (I shoot cars) and I love it! I don't have to lug the dSLR gear out every time now. Very excited.

Great Camera
I am still getting use to the a6000. It has so many controls. Check out Gary Fong's website for tons of tutorials on how to use the a6000. I was able to bundle lens and an SD card for less when I bought the a6000. I love the Electronic Viewfinder. Really excels in low lighting conditions. It is so light weight.

Amazing!
Light & compact......great for hiking, street photography and everyday camera. Love the customizable buttons and high burst rate. I also own a Nikon D7000 whichI love especially in low light but its size & weight prevents me carrying it on a daily basis but with the Sony A6000 I now carry a camera all the time.

Sony AlphaA6000
replaces my NEX 7 with several improvements: (1) no overheating (2) great speed for action shots (3) rapid focus (4)accurate focal ( 5) much simpler controls. For the price, it is a real gem. I will use it exclusively till I can afford the 7R or its next equivalent with lenses which are also a major investment

Great camera
I'm a beginner photographer and bought this camera to learn photography and for travel. It's lightweight and functional. My only complaint, like others have stated, is the short battery life. To combat that, I bought an extra Sony battery and wall charger. I also bought the Sony 35mm f/1.8 as the main lens.

Very suitable for what I need!
Pretty simple to use and fun to play around with. I'm no photographer, but it worked well for I needed it for. Brought it along for my travels. Nice and compact. Picture quality is amazing. I like the white one just because it's different than what most people carry around. I definitely recommend this!
