This is a great miniature lav that will work in lots of applications where you don't want the mic to be visible. ONE SMALL NOTE: the B&H listing for this item states it comes with: 2 x Black Single-Mount Tie Clips 2 x Black Double-Mount Tie Clips Sew-On Mounting Bracket 4 x Black Windscreens Storage Bag It actually only comes with 1 Single-Mount Tie Clip, 1 Sew-On Mounting Bracket, 1 Windscreen, and a full-size microphone storage bag (as in SM58 style). There are no Double-Mount Tie Clips included. This is accurate and verified with the actual Shure product listing, and not really that big of a deal... but the listing should be changed to properly reflect the accessories that come with the item, in case extras need to be ordered with the product. It would have been nice to have the extra tie clip and windscreen. Maybe B&H will send some to me, since they didn't include them as advertised? ... More

I ordered this mic to serve as a backup mic in my video deposition kit. I've been using this microphone for the past 6 years without any problems. In my situation, the microphones pickup voices very well in nearly every environment. When they are properly placed on a deponent, the microphones pickup voices clearly and accurately. My only negative comment is that in some situations, the microphone is a little too sensitive and picks up a little too much background noise and that requires that I keep the gain trimmed down below the usual setting. Otherwise, it's a great microphone. ... More

I bought this little lavalier mic as a replacement for a much older model and body pack at our theatre, and it works beautifully. It's very durable for its size, and gets very little interference from movement/clothing when used as a lapel clip. If you are using a Shure body pack and don't have this upgrade, it's well worth the purchase.

Selected this based on an article in one of my theatre journals. In past productions, I have put headset microphones on my student performers. Bad scene-most couldn't keep their hands off the boom, and in some cases, they sounded like race horses huffing after a quarter mile. This mike will tape right at the hair line-no adjustments, no breathing noises, and solid audio from the performers.

I'm a deposition videographer. have had (mostly) the same 6 Shure 183's for almost 15 years. and I have them jacked into Shure wireless bodypacks. Bought one of these about a year ago to see... Just bought 5 more. they sound great. they're light weight - a concern for some of my female speakers; i hated putting heavy lavs on some of their flimsy clothing.... and shurely cheaper than the venerable 183's!

WL93 Professional Micro-Lavalier Omni Mic We are church that has many speaker come in from all over the country. This mic is used for traveling speakers every week. It gets banged around, left behind and dropped. The cool thing is for the low cost, it takes a lickin but keeps on tickin will great voice clarity. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a similar need!

Sometimes size, color, and quality are important choices. I had a particularly difficult shoot and needed a microphone that matched a lamp shade...the conversation was over the lampshade...a very close conversation between two men...rather than use a more traditional approach with a single mic...I used two mics intermingled with the decorations on the lampshade. It worked out just fine in a quality that was acceptable for the project.

This lav microphone is an affordable alternative for small budgets. An exceptional mic for on-camera use, it's a workhorse for the industry. Though not the best for applications where actors perspire, the omnidirectional field works great for stage. Also, the color choices help to camoflage the obivious.

The product is used in church. The sound quality is excellent. Especially when the person turns their head the mic still picks up the voice. The product is very well built. I have no complaints or problems with the product.

In previous years, our High School Theatre Productions used Lapel microphones, to minimal success. This year we invested in a few of these Micro-Lavalier Omni Mic's. The change in our sound quality was immediate. I would recommend this product to anyone, and everyone looking to get away from the Lapel Microphones.

We use 24 at a time on 2 touring children's theatre shows and with our regional theater. They get a lot of abuse, but hold up under stress. And when they need to be replaced, the price is reasonable for most budgets. The only drawback: they tend to sweat out easily, but a can of air usually fixes that.

I am pleased with this microphone. Good omnidirectional pickup and seems durable too. This microphone's predecessor (same model of Shure) had a relatively short lifespan, so I'm hoping to get a bit more out of this one.

The WL93 sounds great right out of the box. They begin to sound mushy later in life which is why I am such a Countryman E6 fan. But this is a $ lavalier and the E6 can go for more than $350. Baby these mics and they will sound good for a while. Always let the sound guy put it on the talent. They are fragile and easily lose the high end with little abuse.

I use this mic for professional interviews and on camera work as well as video presentations. Works great and kept me from having to replace my body pack as well. Just updated the old school microphone with a new model.

The 93 is a great all around lav mic. It produces clean, crisp sound, is well constructed, and relatively affordable. It's my go-to wired mic.

Used as halo mics for theatrical performances. A very small and unnoticeable condenser, picks up sound very well. Our director and stage manager were both very happy with the difference in performance and visibility between these and our old lavs held on tie clips.

These mics works well. They are very susceptible to overly sweaty actors but other than that works well.

It is a good micro lav mic for speech. It picks up a bit more background noise than a Shure MX183 but it is much less obtrusive.
