MacOS Time Machine
I formatted this drive to be a MacOS Time Machine for a 2018 Mac Mini Core i5. I like the USB-C connection and speed. The first backup was much faster than previous USB based drives, but not by orders of magnitude, i.e., it still took over an hour for the first backup. Incremental backups are very quick.

Easy Setup And Fast Speed
Tried this drive for use in audio and video as a scratch disk. Allows me to access audio and plugins very quickly. Only downside is that it seems to overheat, especially after I transferred most of my files to it. Other than that, so far so good.

State of the Solid States
In a nutshell, I wanted an SSD that was reliable, fast, able to accept footage from a BM Pocket 4K, and able to be used for high res editing. I did the research, bought two of the 250 GBs for post work, then another three T5 500 GB drives as well. When youre dealing with footage, you dont want to go cheap. When the Samsungs go on sale, theyre a bargain.

Small and mighty
With usb-c, by far the fastest drive I have ever used. Even with usb3, it is plenty fast. Definitely a good purchase here for dealing with large media files.

I have two of these now...
All the good they say about this SSD has been true for me. I have two of these 500gb models, the oldest of which is almost a year old. That older one was well worth the $160 I paid for it then and even better, the second one (purchased in November 18) cost only $100. You cant go wrong with the T5.

Works Great on BM P4K
Small and light. Been using with the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with no issues with the drive itself. The camera sometimes has a problem seeing the drive but is an issue with the camera that Im sure will be addressed by a firmware update soon,

Fast and compact portable SSD
Samsung portable SSDs are compact and fast. I own T3 and T5, both 500GB size, for my MacBook backups. I really love the minimalist design of compact size. It is convenient to carry around everywhere without even noticing the SSD. Speed is much faster than normal portable hard drives.

Video editing, so far so good
I just purchased this 1tb Samsung SSD. Ive been using it for a couple of weeks as my scratch disk for FCPX while editing. Some people said they couldnt tell the difference from editing with an SSD as an external, but I definitely could tell a marked difference over my G-Drive ev Raw. Good drive, bad egg
Was really excited for this drive! I desperately need a quick drive to edit video off of but on that was still portable. SOLID STATE DRIVES ARE THE WAY TO GO

Tiny Trooper
I was surprised by how tiny this external SSD Drive is but then I loaded it up with Spectrasonics and Native Instruments samples and gave it a test run. Blazing fast speed, no issues whatsoever. Far better than my 7200 rpm drive. A great value so far.

It is SO FAST!!!!! There is only one small, really small downside. That is the fact that it is so light the really high quality cable, and it honestly is, which is thick and tends to not stay flat tends to make the drive not sit flat. But, small price to pay!
