First time drone owner - Amazing device!
What can I say that hasn't already been said thousands of times. Simply an amazing little machine. I've never flown a drone of any kind before, nor used any type of RC device. Over all a great product.
As usual B&H had super fast shipping. I love the Mavic Pro. I have a back ground of flying racing drones so this thing is amazingly easy to fly. Amazing
Having sold all my previous DJI kit because of nil support I wanted to give them another go and I am glad I did. Great for what it is! (Caveat applies)
I lost my first Mavic to a tall tree. Replaced it with this one. I still like the little guy, but there are image quality issues. Flying-wise it's great. Flies and tracks especially in wind better than the Phantom 4 Pro I usually use. However, if I want best image quality, I use the Phantom 4 Pro. Obviously. I have owned multiple drones and the Mavic Pro is an amazing drone in many ways and not so amazing in others. The main positive is the size of the drone. Also, the drone is super easy to fly and has very good GPS signal. The DJI app used to fly the drone on your smartphone is quite temperamental. I've had the Mavic Pro for couple of weeks and learning all the various capabilities it has. It's undoubtedly quality engineered and built. I look forward to getting some great footages. Good hardware, bad software, unfriendly support
The hardware is good. But software is buggy. Support is seriously lacking. When the drone worked, it was very good. But its software was buggy and DJI is not being honest about their buggy software. Amazing aerial photography tool!
After reading all the reviews, I bought the Mavic as my first drone. It is super easy to fly...I was flying it with no issues after spending a little time reading the instructions and getting the settings right in the DJI app on my phone. I have never owned a real UAS other than the Syma X5C to train on. I learned with it and since it has no GPS, it's not very stable. When I started using the Mavic Pro, it was a world of difference. I love everything about the Mavic Pro itself, but the case is too small, even if I'm just trying to only put the drone and controller in. I took it to Alaska with me and I found that when folded the legs of the drone snag to the interior of the case when trying to put it in and it made for a nervous time trying to remove it. The DJI Mavic Pro is amazing! It is very easy to fly, and this comes from a person who had very little luck flying remote control airplanes.
